Today we're going to gently acknowledge any feelings of worry,

Stress or uncertainty that may be present when you think about money or finances.

Financial anxiety is incredibly common,

So if thoughts about money have been feeling quite overwhelming or heavy,

You're not alone.

In this session we're not trying to fix everything or figure anything out,

We're simply creating a little more calm and space in the body using gentle EFT tapping.

Let's begin by taking a slow comfortable breath in through the nose.

Nice big inhale.

And then out through the mouth,

Nice and slowly.

Just letting it go a little bit on the exhale as we come into this space.

And then start tapping on the side of the hand,

Repeating after me either in your mind or out loud.

Even though I feel this anxiety when I think about money,

I'm acknowledging how I feel today.

Even though I have this worry about my finances and what the future might hold,

I'm open to meeting this with kindness and compassion.

Even though thinking about money can feel overwhelming or stressful,

I choose to love and accept myself anyway.

Okay,

So for the first couple of rounds today we're just going to express the truth of how we're feeling.

Remember we're not tapping in the negative,

We're just expressing our truth so that we can release and move forward.

So tapping softly on the eyebrow point.

This financial anxiety feels so heavy.

Side of the eye,

I notice how much I worry about money.

How it's always on my mind.

Under the eye,

My body feels tense when I think about finances.

So just noticing the body for a moment as you tap here under the eye.

Just being curious about any areas of tension or tightness or heaviness.

Keep tapping,

We're not trying to change anything or judge anything here.

We're just noticing.

Under the nose,

What if I can't make ends meet?

What if something unexpected happens?

What if things don't improve?

Chin points,

All these thoughts about money can be really hard to switch off.

Collarbone points,

I feel this tension or bracing when money comes to mind.

Like I'm expecting the worst.

Under the arm,

I just want money to feel easy and calm.

Top of the head,

But the anxiety can feel overwhelming.

Back to the eyebrow points.

I'm so tired of this constant worry.

Side of the eye,

It feels exhausting carrying this.

Under the eye,

Sometimes I feel trapped by it.

Under the nose,

Or I feel unsure what to do next.

Chin points,

These feelings can take up so much space.

Collarbone points,

It's a lot to hold on my own.

It's a lot to hold on my own.

So you might like to pause here for a moment,

Just tapping softly on the collarbone points.

Breathing softly.

We're just acknowledging how hard this has been.

It's okay to feel whatever you're feeling.

Financial stress can feel incredibly heavy at times,

But also quite lonely too.

It's something that we often just carry quietly to ourselves.

And quite often there's a sense of shame or guilt or self-judgment.

So through this tapping,

We're simply allowing all these thoughts and feelings to flow.

Things to be here,

Rather than pushing them away.

And we're letting the body know that it doesn't have to hold it all quite so tightly right now.

And it's safe to soften even just a little bit.

So tapping on the collarbone point,

Let's just take a breath here together.

So inhaling through the nose.

And exhaling and just letting go a little bit.

You're doing so well to have showed up here for yourself today.

That takes a lot of courage.

Okay,

So moving now to under the arm.

No wonder my nervous system feels on edge.

Top of the head.

This has been really hard.

Eyebrow point.

What if I could begin to feel a little calmer right now?

What if?

Side of the eye.

Even if it's just for a moment.

Under the eye.

I don't have to solve everything today.

Under the nose.

Maybe I can take this one step at a time.

Chin point.

I acknowledge how I faced challenges before in my life.

Collarbone.

And I found ways through.

Under the arm.

Even when it didn't always feel possible at the time.

Top of the head.

I'm allowed to go gently.

Eyebrow point.

I wonder if it's safe to release a little of this tension.

Side of the eye.

Maybe I can let go of some of this stress.

Even if it is just a tiny bit.

Under the eye.

What if I let my body begin to soften?

So tapping under the eye,

You might just notice that when worry or stress shows up,

That your body kind of moves into an alert or protective mode.

And sometimes we feel that in your body.

You might feel it as tension in your head or neck.

Or a sense of restlessness in the legs like they want to move or run.

Or you might just be frozen.

So this is simply your nervous system trying to keep you safe.

So as you tap here under the eye,

Allow your jaw to gently relax.

Let your tummy soften.

And then softening across the back of the head,

The neck and shoulders.

Relaxing the muscles in your forehead.

And all the tiny muscles around your eyes.

And allowing any tightness in the legs or calves to ease.

Tapping under the eye and just breathing.

We're just inviting and allowing some relaxation.

We're not forcing anything.

We're just allowing the body to receive the message that it's safe to soften.

It's safe to soften.

Under the nose.

I'm creating a little more space inside.

Chin point.

Space for calmness and clarity.

Collarbone point.

I'm not forcing anything.

Under the arm,

I'm just allowing what's here.

Top of the head.

I'm doing okay in this moment.

Eyebrow point.

When it comes to finances,

I'm doing the best I can right now.

Side of the eye.

Maybe slowing down can help me gain clarity.

Under the eye,

It's safe to ask for help if I need it.

Chin point.

Under the nose,

I can take things one day at a time.

Or if need be,

One hour at a time.

Chin point.

I don't need to figure everything out today.

Collarbone point.

Feeling calm and grounded helps me make wiser choices.

Under the arm.

I choose to be kinder to myself during times of stress.

Top of the head.

I can move forward from a calmer,

Steadier place.

And repeat that again.

I can move forward from a calmer,

Steadier place.

Okay,

Well done.

So stop tapping there.

Take a slow breath in.

And exhaling.

Take a moment to let things go.

Let things settle.

And just notice if anything feels slightly different in your mind or body.

Perhaps there's a little less tension.

Maybe your breathing feels slower.

Or maybe there's just a little more space around those thoughts and anxiety.

You might even notice a sense of lightness or a little more clarity than before.

And this is how tapping can really gently ground you.

And when you feel calmer and more settled,

You're often better able to think clearly,

Make steady decisions and respond rather than react when it comes to finances.

So you can return to this tapping any time you notice financial stress beginning to build.

Thank you for taking this time to support yourself today.

You're welcome.
