Let's begin our meditation for today by taking three nice deep breaths.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Carrying on your breathing,

Melt the shoulders down,

Soften the forehead,

Unclench the jaw,

Let go of any tight tension that you're gripping onto,

And just let your inhale and exhale do its thing.

Let's imagine that we're walking through a forest,

The sunlight is beaming through the trees above you,

The smell of damp moss,

Dry tree trunks,

Flowers,

And the pine needle covered path flood your nose.

You meet your way along the path knowing that you're the only one here,

And you can feel safe.

You hear the crunch of the pine needles under your foot as you walk.

The sunlight kisses your skin,

Flitting in between the branches above.

You finally come to a hot spring at the end of the path.

You stand for a moment,

Casting your gaze over the water.

You decide that you'd like to get in.

Moving slowly towards the water's edge,

You feel the warmth radiating off the water.

You dip in,

Almost feeling like you're dipping into a warm bath.

You're knee deep,

Then waist deep,

And now the water's all the way up to your neck.

Your feet push away from the ground below the water,

Gently dunking the back of your head.

A sense of complete calm runs right down from your scalp all the way to your toes.

You find yourself floating,

Looking up at the sky,

Submerged in these warm,

Calming waters.

There's no need to rush or hurry.

You have all the time in the world.

The hot spring soothes your tired muscles,

Allowing them to relax and melt further.

The sunlight from above radiates onto your face,

And you begin to feel completely at peace.

The water is washing you of any stress.

You start to feel it dissipate.

Take the next few moments to bring awareness to this feeling,

And allow it to flood your entire body.

And as we make our way back to ourselves,

Let's take one final deep breath and cherish this feeling.

Breathe in,

And let it all go.

Same time,

Same place,

Tomorrow.
