We're going to take five minutes today to focus solely on the rhythm of our breath.
If this is something that you struggle with or find hard,
Or you find that your thoughts gonna run in a circle,
That's totally normal,
Totally human thing to do.
So try not to get frustrated.
I like to imagine that I'm standing on a beach and the edge of a wave is meeting me at my feet.
And every time I breathe in,
The wave laps along the shore,
Washes the pebbles,
And gently meets me at my feet.
On the exhale,
I imagine the wave going back out to sea,
And hopefully taking all my troubles with it.
So let's begin with our first inhale,
And the wave comes in.
And on our exhale,
The wave goes out.
Imagine the white foam gently meeting you on your inhale.
And on your exhale,
It's going back out to sea.
And on your exhale,
It's going back out to sea.
And if the momentum of your mind has drawn your awareness away from your breath,
Which it will gently,
Non-judgmentally,
Bring it back.
And on your exhale,
It's going back out to sea.
And as we begin to gently finish our breathing meditation for today,
Let's seal this feeling of bliss by taking three nice,
Easy,
Deep breaths.
That feeling of calm that you're sensing in the basin of your being was completely created by you,
Not me.
It was all you.
It's okay to relax,
Dear one.
Life is good.
