Shakra balancing breathing exercise.

The simple breathing exercise will guide you back to feeling more energetically balanced,

Clear,

Positive and connected.

Begin by taking a nice long slow deep breath in,

Breathing in through your nose and slowly exhaling through your mouth or your nose.

Again,

Breathing in through your nose,

Connecting with that life force energy,

Connecting with that breath and slowly exhaling.

Feeling your chest expand as you breathe in and drop as you exhale.

With our next breath in,

I want you to visualize the color red,

The color of your root chakra.

And as you breathe in,

You're going to draw that red light or energy down to the base of your spine.

Breathing in red and breathing out red.

Breathing in red and breathing out red.

Continuing to breathe in this way,

Supporting your root chakra,

Nourishing it.

Your chakra of stability,

Security and safety.

Now moving our awareness to the color orange,

The color of our sacral chakra.

A space of creativity and pleasure and emotions.

So breathing in the color orange and taking it down below the belly button into our sacral.

Breathing in orange and drawing it down into that area and exhaling orange.

Strengthening,

Energizing,

Balancing.

Breathing in and out orange.

Now moving your awareness to the color yellow,

To our solar plexus chakra.

And taking the breath now and drawing that breath in just below the breath bone and above the belly button to our solar plexus area.

Breathing in the color yellow.

Breathing out yellow.

Strengthening the chakra of self confidence and willpower and sense of self.

Breathing in and out yellow.

Now moving your awareness up to the center of your chest and breathing in the color green or pink,

The color of the heart chakra.

Breathing in pink or green and out pink or green.

And bringing that color into the center of compassion and kindness.

Strengthening,

Balancing,

Energizing.

Now moving your awareness to the color blue,

To our throat chakra.

The expression of ourselves of honest authentic communication.

Breathing in and out the color blue into the area of our throat.

Clearing,

Balancing.

Allowing us to be honest and authentic with who we are.

Breathing in and out blue.

Now moving your awareness up to your third eye chakra.

Just between the eyebrows,

Just on the forehead and breathing in and out the color indigo.

A beautiful deep purpley blue color like a night sky.

Breathing in and out indigo.

Balancing this chakra of intuition.

Of mental clarity.

Tapping into our subconscious mind.

And lastly moving up to the top of her head to our crown chakra.

Her chakra of spiritual connection.

Of faith.

And breathing in and out the color white.

Drawing that beautiful clear white energy into the top of your head.

Exhaling,

Releasing.

Breathing in and out white.

Lastly bringing your awareness back to your breath.

And just visualizing each of these chakra points closing slowly.

So the top of your head gently closing.

Your third eye.

Your throat.

Your heart.

Your solar plexus.

Your sacral.

And your root.

Taking in a nice deep energizing breath now.

Exhaling,

Feeling balanced,

Connected and positive.
