Today we are going to use a short meditation to increase our energy.
Please sit comfortably with your back straight and your feet planted firmly on the ground.
Rest your hands on your lap,
Close your eyes or simply soften your gaze.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and let it out through your mouth.
Now we are going to count as we breathe.
Please inhale deeply through your nose for a count of four,
Hold your breath for a count of four and exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of six.
Let's do this again.
In for four,
Hold for four and out for six.
As you let your breathing return to normal,
Imagine tension leaving your body every time you breathe out,
Like a wave washing away.
Feel your body grow lighter with each breath.
Now bring your attention to the center of your chest just above your heart.
Imagine a small glowing ball of light there.
With every inhale imagine this light growing brighter and warmer.
With every exhale feel this light expand spreading its energy to your arms,
Legs and entire body.
Visualize this energy as vibrant and powerful.
Maybe it's golden,
Radiant or even electric blue.
Feel it energizing you,
Filling you with vitality and focus.
Now silently or out loud let's repeat the following affirmations and as you repeat them feel yourself filling with energy.
I am filled with vibrant energy and unstoppable strength.
Each breath I take energizes my mind,
Body and spirit.
I radiate positivity,
Focus and vitality in everything I do.
Bring your attention back to your breath now.
Inhale deeply and feel the energy radiating through your body.
Exhale and imagine yourself rooted firmly to the earth,
Stable and energized.
When you're ready wiggle your fingers and toes,
Take one last deep breath and open your eyes.
Carry this energy with you into your day.
Whenever you feel your energy dip remember you can return to this quick meditation to recharge and refocus.
Feel awake,
Alert and ready to take on whatever comes your way.
