Hello,
This is Jaycee and this is a meditation that I developed to help connect with our animal friends.
It can be a pet or an animal that you really like or even a pet or animal that has passed.
This is just to help with your connection to the animals and to really receive and experience that love between you and an animal soul.
This meditation was developed after reading the book The Language of Miracles by Amelia Kincaid.
Amelia has many different prayers and meditations within her book.
I was inspired after reading her book to adapt my own prayers and meditations to connect to my own animal friends.
And now I would like to share that with you today.
Of course with an animal connection meditation,
Animals are more than welcome to join you and I invite you to welcome their distractions if they are beside you,
But you also do not need to have an animal with you to connect to their spirit.
You can choose a pet or an animal outside.
Any animal that you feel connected to will work and they do not need to be in your immediate presence.
I invite you to settle in and get comfortable in your seat.
Begin to concentrate on your heart center and feel that opening of connection start to develop within your chest as we begin this meditation.
We will begin with a prayer,
A prayer to divine light,
The universe,
Archangel Raphael,
The angel of healing and of animals,
Quan Yin,
The female aspect of Buddha and goddess of the animals,
Lord Ganesha,
The Hindu keeper of the animals,
Saint Francis,
The patron Saint of animals in the Catholic tradition.
We ask that these divine beings and masters and teachers join us today and maybe feel their energy and love as we connect to the animals in our lives.
We will start with heart breaths to connect to our heart centers and a heart breath begins with breathing in through the back of the heart chakra,
Holding the breath at the top,
Feeling the energy of the breath swirling around the heart center and then exhaling through the front of the heart center.
We begin with an inhale through the back of the heart.
Hold the breath at the top.
Exhale through the front of the heart.
Again,
Inhale through the back,
Feel the air in your lungs,
Feel the energy at your heart center as you exhale through the front of your heart.
We breathe together again in through the back of the heart,
Feeling the energy of the breath as you hold the breath at the top and then on the exhale,
Releasing any tension held within the body.
Breathing in through the back of the heart,
Holding the breath at the top.
Now exhaling any pain,
Emotions or feelings that have been holding you back with the exhale.
With this next inhale through your heart center,
Breathe in and hold on to all of the good in this world,
Absorbing the love as you hold the breath at the top.
Feel joy and gratitude at your heart center.
Exhale through the front of your heart and for our last heart breath together,
We breathe in through the front of the heart,
Breathing in warmth,
Love and gratitude again,
Feeling that breath at the heart center,
Releasing out through the front of the heart.
You can now settle into your normal breathing pattern,
Feeling the air within your lungs and the subtle shifts within your body as you breathe easily in and out.
As we settle into this meditation,
We remember that there is infinite love in everything on this planet.
We are all divinely planned and created by the universe.
We have the ability to tap into this energy.
Reach into your soul,
Into your heart center and connect to the love of all beings with whom we share this planet.
Now settle on your breath and feel this energy at your heart center.
Begin to feel into the energy of gratitude.
Think of something in your life for which you are grateful for.
Feel gratitude in your heart and thank the divine for this beautiful blessing in your life.
Now think of something else for which you are grateful for and thank the divine again for this beautiful blessing in your life.
Now think of a human in your life who you love most of all on this earth and let that love and gratitude fill you up inside.
Now think of an animal who you love most of all on this earth and feel that warmth of love and gratitude inside your heart filling you up inside.
Connect to your breath at your heart center and feel your heart beaming with love and gratitude.
Thank the divine for all of the beautiful precious moments you have shared with this beautiful animal in your life.
If you'd like you can now think of an animal who you have loved who has passed and thank the divine for the love you shared with this precious being.
You may smile or tear up at these thoughts emotions let you know that you are truly connected.
Allow love to pour from your heart center as you relish in this beautiful connection.
Now begin to see your heart center glowing and sparkling with love and gratitude.
With each inhale the sparkling heart gets brighter and with each exhale you send this love outside of your body and into your aura.
See your heart center expand out and reach the animal who you would most like to connect with today.
See the heart center of this animal as a sparkling star as well filled with love and gratitude.
See your two hearts connecting sharing love and gratitude between you.
Know the love this animal has for you and send love from your heart to the animal.
Feel and notice the beautiful energy of love shared between you.
See the love this animal has for you and send love to the animal.
At this time you can tell them a message and you can listen for them to send you a message as you continue to send love between your two hearts.
You know the love this animal has for you and send love to the animal.
See the love this animal has for you and send love to the animal.
Now begin to visualize your heart and the heart of your animal disconnecting.
See your two hearts as full but separate.
Begin to return your attention to your own breath and your own heart center.
Breathing in through the back of your heart,
Breathing out through the front of your heart.
Fully disconnecting from the heart of your animal as you breathe in through the back of your heart,
Breathe out through the front of your heart.
Begin feeling into your physical body,
Feeling the breath moving in and out of your lungs.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes as you come back into the room and when you are ready you can open your eyes and return to your surroundings.
Thank you so much for joining me in this heart centered Animal Connection meditation inspired by Amelia Kincaid the author of The Language of Miracles.
