This is a quick morning journal session to check in with your heart first thing in the morning. I will read prompts and give you time to answer them as soothing music plays in the background. These prompts will help you get clear on your energy, your priorities for the day, and recognize things you are grateful for in your life. This is a wonderful practice you can even do daily for clarity.

Welcome to your simple morning check-in journaling session.

This is a beautiful way to start your day.

Begin by feeling into your heart center.

Close your eyes and place a hand on your heart.

See if you can really feel into your heart.

Can you feel it beating?

Notice the rise and fall of your chest as you concentrate here at your heart center.

Just for a moment sit here and connect to your heart,

Breathing in and out of your heart center.

And we will begin with our first question.

How does your heart feel today?

Ask yourself,

How does my heart feel today?

Begin to wrap this up.

What energy would I like to call in today?

Now write down the top three things that you would like to accomplish today.

Get clear on your priorities and list three things that you would like to accomplish today.

As you're listing out your priorities for today,

Write why you would like to accomplish these specific things and how you will feel after you are done.

Our last prompt is to end with gratitude.

What am I grateful for today?

Go ahead and make a list of at least three things and I challenge you to make one of these things that you are grateful for a physical characteristic of yourself and another thing that you are grateful for a personal characteristic about yourself.

And your list can be as long as you like,

But at least three things and two of them being about you.

Okay,

Go ahead and wrap up your gratitude list.
