This meditation is all about going deep into allowing the energy of our emotions to move through and out of our bodies. The more you lovingly care for your physical body by going to bed early, deeply hydrating by sipping on hot water throughout the day, and feeding yourself nourishing foods consciously, the more you will be able to go deep and release in this meditation.

Welcome to this emotional release meditation.

Start by getting yourself to a comfortable place.

If you can be comfortable sitting up with your feet flat on the floor or in a cross-legged position,

Just be where you feel really supported.

So take a minute or two to arrange yourself and arrange your space.

Adjust the pillows.

Shut any doors or windows.

Turn your phone on two.

Do not disturb.

Make a sacred space for yourself physically and with your intention.

I'm going to be using this time today for you to feel you and to allow whatever is there to be felt to arise and to release,

To be released once and for all,

To be felt so fully that the emotion,

The feeling is able to be released from where it's been held in your physical body.

So now that you've gotten settled,

Please close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and hold it for just a moment and then release.

Letting go of your breath completely.

Two more just like this.

Breathing in deeply,

Holding your breath for a moment and then letting go.

Breathing your breath,

But also your grip on the past and once again breathing in,

Pausing and letting go also of your need for things to be any certain way.

Breathing in love and acceptance for yourself as you sit in this moment.

Appreciating yourself for making this time and this space and for being here with yourself,

With your own experience.

And as you sit in gratitude and appreciation for taking your time,

Extend that appreciation to your body,

To your physical body that's been carrying you through your life and that's been holding so much of what has been unprocessed.

But until now you've been unable to see really fully,

To see really clearly,

To process,

To move through.

Let your body know how much you appreciate it for carrying these burdens for you.

And affirm your intention that this time is about supporting your body in the smooth and complete release of anything that it's carrying,

That you're ready to see,

That you're ready to feel,

That you're ready to release.

We're going to name what that is in just a moment.

Just scanning through your physical body,

Making any micro adjustments that feel helpful to get you as comfortable as possible.

So that you trust that any sensations that arrive as you move through this practice are coming from within.

And tuning in with your energy,

Pulling all of you here into this present moment,

Noticing where you're at,

Where you've been energetically,

How you're feeling physically,

Tuning in emotionally,

Allowing yourself to see clearly where your focus has been,

Where your mind has been.

And once again,

Stating your clear intention for yourself,

How you're going to use this time to feel you,

To create a space for healing and for release.

Continuing to breathe deeply so that you feel the breath moving your body,

So that you keep coming back again and again to your breath,

Moving in your body.

And making your experience wrong in any way.

So staying in this attitude of trust and appreciation and gratitude and knowing that you're exactly where you're meant to be.

Call to mind the circumstance that you're struggling to understand,

A situation that keeps coming up or an emotion,

An emotional reaction that keeps happening over and over.

And take a minute or two for you to get some clarity and specificity of what you're wanting to release during this session.

Know that whatever comes up,

Whatever you find attached to any threads you follow is totally okay.

But also know that you have plenty of time and there's no need to release everything you've been carrying all at once.

So go ahead and be specific as you call to mind something that you're ready to release,

An old belief,

A limiting idea of yourself,

An emotional reaction like anger or rage,

Anxiety,

Or even overwhelm.

So once you've gotten clear on the situation that you're calling to mind,

We're going to move into the more active part of the release now.

And know that whenever I prompt you,

This is what you're going to call to mind,

What you've settled on here as the focus for your release.

Imagine now as you're breathing in a cord of light,

A stream of light coming in through the crown of your head.

And as it illuminates,

Your whole central channel shines down through your head and your neck and you feel this delicious light moving down through your shoulders and your neck and your chest.

It's illuminating now your lower spine and shining a light on your grounding cord,

The cord that connects you right to the center of the planet.

So establishing your awareness of the cord that connects you to the divine energy of the earth below you and the sacred knowing of your higher self,

The truth,

The highest truth,

Loving vibration of the universe from above.

Imagine a little bit,

A little spark almost of light,

Energy making its way down that channel of light that you're sitting in.

Imagine that spark just floating down,

Sort of like a feather just wafting in the air until it comes to light in your heart.

And as it lands there,

It's like a key.

It's just a perfect fit to open your heart.

And as your heart unlocks,

The light from within it starts to shine out and you start to feel the warmth of your own heart.

So that a warmth starts to fill up the space in the center of your chest.

And as you continue to breathe,

You can imagine each breath serving to open your heart even more,

To brighten the light that's shining forth.

And bringing to mind,

Feeding that light,

Bringing to mind,

Calling into your heart the most loving feeling that you can recall,

Maybe even placing your hands over your heart.

The most adorable moment when you were so in love with your child or the feeling that you had with your most precious grandma.

Feeling in more of this warmth,

This loving feeling.

And as we call in support from the universe,

From your guides,

From the higher power of your own understanding,

As you call forth that support and then affirm your desire to be supported.

Thank you universe for helping me to release what I'm ready to let go of.

Show me how to do this,

I'm willing.

I choose to follow my heart and be led by my heart and to stay with my heart's desire for more love,

For more awakening,

For more happiness.

Even as I encounter emotions that feel counter to that.

And back to your breath,

Into the energy of love within you.

And from this open heart space,

Call to mind the situation.

The situation or the emotional reaction,

The circumstance that you were struggling with.

And staying in your body,

Calling forth the feeling of that situation.

Allow the sensations to come into your body.

Stay with what you notice in your body and invite in the feeling that's behind the circumstance or the situation,

Or maybe you're working with a pure emotion like anger.

Letting it in,

The sensation.

And whether you're coming from working directly with an emotional reaction or a situation,

Let yourself really be in this place,

Maybe in conversation with someone or the last time you remember feeling this way.

Continue to breathe and to stay with the sensation in your body.

As you awaken this feeling within you,

Keep coming back to the sensation in your body.

And know that whatever you're feeling,

You're releasing it at the same time.

And trust your body will know how to guide you,

Your heart will know how to guide you.

And if tears wanna come or you need to move or stretch or make a sound of some sort,

It's okay.

Keep coming back to your breath and to the sensation in your body,

Letting this feeling ramp up.

Imagine that you're with each breath sort of fueling the fire,

Letting your anxiety just run rampant in your body.

Imagine as you're breathing deeply,

So you're not actually being swept away by it.

Instead it's that every cell in your body that's been holding that anxiety or anger or whatever the reaction you're releasing is,

Every cell in your body that's been holding it is opening and releasing it,

Releasing that energy of anxiety,

Of anger or whatever is coming up for you.

And just stay with the sensation in your body.

For the next four or five minutes,

Keep coming back to your breath and back to your body,

Knowing that whatever you're feeling,

You're releasing.

It's being grounded down into the earth through your connection to the planet.

And it only actually needs to be felt one time.

And you do it like this,

Grounded,

Breathing,

Secure in your safety,

Present with the sensation in your body and your cells opening and releasing.

Keep coming back to the sensation in your body.

To the way that the anger or the overwhelm,

The grief,

The way that it feels,

Allowing that energy to move through your body and release back to the planet.

Continuing to breathe and knowing that if you are feeling it,

You're healing it.

You're releasing it down your grounding cord,

Letting the energy move through you and all the way out and down.

Crisp mellow music you you Coming back to your original circumstance or emotion Letting it come up and into your experience Noticing how it has shifted or changed where there is more to be released keep opening all of your cells just letting that energy move out of them knowing that it's okay if there's more if this session doesn't feel complete you can still allow this session to complete turning your focus to all that you have released over the last half an hour but also over the last weeks and months the habit that we have of looking at what is yet to be done instead of all that we have accomplished is very ingrained in us so turning now to everything that you have released to all the coal that you have shoveled instead of looking at the pile that's remaining breathing in this feeling of appreciation for everything that you have faced everything that you have allowed in every way you have seen clearly and allowed yourself your experience so so so and deepening and lengthening your breath coming back into your present time awareness seeing yourself in this column of light connecting and grounding you to the center of the planet breathing to release any thing that is still lingering that's asking to be let go of dropping it down your grounding cord knowing that you can come back to this practice again and again as often as you need to give yourself a container to face and to work directly with the waves of emotion experiences that are harder to face wake all your fingers and your toes in order to start to come back into your physical form allow yourself to move or just stretch adjust in any way that you feel called and deepening your breathing into your belly lengthening your exhale to release completely and from this clean and clear space set your energetic boundaries engage your energetic protection refreshing your grounding cord to the center of the earth and your connection to your highest self to the divine breathe to create that beautiful bubble of your own energy with that membrane of protection around you or whatever visualization of your energy protection that feels real to you stating clearly and affirming that your energy boundaries are intact your spiritual borders are clear and clean and functioning perfectly filter out that which is not yours and to keep in all of your positive energy so that what you use as you're moving through the world is just your overflow overflow of your own well-being so before we close please call to mind the intention that you're working on and state it to yourself firmly fiercely so and so and so it is
