My name is Stephanie and I'm a teacher here at Insight Timer.
Very happy to be here with you all today and sharing a short pocket meditation on loving kindness towards ourselves.
I know that so often we very freely and beautifully,
Generously give love to others,
And we give support,
Encouragement,
Appreciation,
And so often we fall the lowest on the list,
If at all.
And so I think it's just really important to kind of give ourselves that same grace,
That same love,
Appreciation,
And support.
So I hope this practice finds you well today,
And let's get started.
So first,
You're going to want to find a nice space to just do your practice today.
That could be sitting down like I am.
You can lay down if that's comfortable for you.
If you're walking,
This is a great walking meditation as well if you'd like.
However you feel that you can show up for practice today.
And as you settle in,
We're just going to connect with our bodies through our breath.
So go ahead and take a deep breath in through your nose.
And let it go And take another deep breath in.
And let it go.
And as we take one more deep breath in.
We're gonna let it go.
And just give a nice little thanks to our body And as we ground into our bodies,
Just going to give you a few words to just repeat to yourself.
If it helps,
You can put one or two hands on your heart.
And repeat after me.

I appreciate all that you do for me.
I see you.
I see your pain.
Your worries.
Your joys.
Your peace.
I see all of you and I love you.

And I'm going to give you a few minutes to just sit in this space.
This space of loving the wholeness of who you are.

And as we slowly come to a close with this meditation,
I just want to remind you all that When we go out into the world and we see beauty.
We admire the earth that surrounds us,
Be that a sunset or the sun,
The flowers blooming.
We are connected to all of that.
All of that is a reflection of who we are as earth beings.
And just like we stare in awe and joy and gratitude.
Let us remind ourselves that we too deserve that gratitude.
That appreciation always.
