Welcome,

This is Stefania,

And tonight is simply resting.

So get comfortable,

Close your eyes,

And let the day gently fall away.

I'll be right here with you,

With a sweet story and affirmations to help you rest and sleep deeply.

Garvey and the Gentle Sun Take a slow breath in,

And let it go.

There is nowhere else you need to be.

Nothing you need to solve,

Nothing you need to hold.

The day is finished now,

And you are allowed to rest.

Far away from the busy roads and bright lights and ticking clocks,

There is a quiet hillside,

Soft grass,

Cool air,

The faint silver hush of early morning.

Everything is still,

As if the whole world is sleeping.

On one broad green leaf rests a tiny dewdrop,

Small,

Round,

Clear as glass.

His name is Garvey.

He doesn't rush,

He doesn't hurry,

He simply rests exactly where he is,

Held by the leaf,

Cradled by the night air,

Safe.

All around him,

Other dewdrops cling to petals and stems,

Little pearls,

Little lanterns gently shining.

If you were there,

You might not hear anything at all,

Just the softest quiet.

The kind of quiet that makes your shoulders loosen without you even noticing.

Garvey loves this feeling,

This cool stillness,

This floating.

He feels almost weightless already,

As though he could drift away like a feather if he wished.

But each morning something calls to him.

Before the birds wake,

Before the breeze stirs,

The sky begins to glow.

Soft pink,

Warm gold,

Gentle light spreading slowly like honey.

And Garvey feels a tiny warmth inside,

A wish,

A curious little longing to feel that light up close,

To meet the sun.

The other dewdrops whisper kindly,

The sun is warm,

They say,

So warm you might disappear.

You might rise into the sky and never come back.

They say it softly,

Not to scare him,

Just to protect him.

Garvey listens and he understands,

But somehow the thought doesn't frighten him,

Because when he watches the sun rise,

He doesn't feel danger.

He feels welcome,

As though something bright and loving is calling his name.

So he waits,

Patient,

Easy,

Rocking gently on his sleeve,

There is no rush.

Morning will come when it comes,

Just like sleep,

Just like rest,

Just like everything.

And as you listen,

You might imagine yourself there too,

Resting on your own soft green leaf,

Supported,

Carried,

Nothing to hold on to,

Nothing to control,

Just breathing,

Just floating.

One morning,

The air feels warmer,

Softer,

Kinder somehow.

The world stretches awake very slowly,

No hurry,

No sharp edges,

Just light.

The sun rises,

Not bright,

Not blazing,

But tender,

Golden,

Like a hand reaching out with care.

His warmth touches the meadow little by little,

Leaf by leaf,

Drop by drop,

Until finally it reaches Garvey.

He feels the warmth,

A gentle hug,

A quiet glow,

And instead of tightening,

Instead of clinging,

He relaxes,

He lets go,

Just a little,

And whispers,

It's okay.

And something beautiful happens,

He grows lighter,

Lighter and lighter,

As though gravity has forgotten him.

The leaf doesn't lose him,

It simply releases him,

The way you release a long breath,

Easy,

Natural,

Soft.

Garvey begins to rise,

Floating upward,

Slowly,

Like mist,

Like a sigh,

Like a dream lifting into the sky,

No fear,

Only warmth,

Only light,

Only peace.

Higher and higher he drifts,

The meadow smaller now,

The world quieter,

Everything below is wrapped in calm,

And he realizes he isn't disappearing at all,

He is changing,

Becoming lighter,

Becoming freer,

Becoming something new.

Sunlight wraps around him,

Through him,

Within him,

And colors begin to bloom,

Red,

Orange,

Then blue,

Indigo,

And violet,

Soft ribbons of light unfolding in every direction.

Other dewdrops join him now,

Together they stretch across the sky,

Curved,

Glowing,

Gentle,

A rainbow,

Garvey is still Garvey,

And also more,

More light,

More sky,

More peace.

Nothing lost,

Nothing gone,

Only transformed,

Only expanded,

Only free.

And just like Garvey,

You don't have to hold the day anymore.

You don't have to carry every thought,

You don't have to stay heavy,

You can soften,

You can drift,

You can let the night lift you,

The way the sun lifted him.

Because,

Letting go is safe,

Letting go is gentle,

Letting go is simply rest.

The hillside grows quiet again,

The colors fade into twilight blue,

The air cools,

Everything settles,

And you settle too,

Heavier now,

Warmer now,

Sleepier now,

Drifting,

Floating,

Resting,

It's safe to rest now.

I release this day with ease,

Nothing needs my attention tonight,

My body softens and grows heavy,

My breath is slow and steady,

I let go of every worry,

I am supported and protected,

I trust the quiet of the night,

My mind gently unwinds,

Each exhale relaxes me deeper,

I allow myself to drift,

I don't need to hold anything,

I am safe to surrender,

Peace flows through me,

My muscles melt into comfort,

Tomorrow can wait,

I deserve deep healing sleep,

All is well,

All is calm,

All is well,

I fall asleep with ease,

I fall asleep with ease,

I fall asleep with ease,

Now,

Simply keep resting,

Let the words fade and allow yourself to drift into a deep and peaceful sleep.

Good night.
