Welcome to this facial reflexology routine for when you have a migraine.
This routine is something that you can do when you are actually suffering from a migraine.
It is also something you can do regularly as a preventative measure when you're not having a migraine.
I encourage you to take this as slow as you need and also check out my other videos for facial massage and relaxation,
Which also is supportive when you're having a migraine.
Let's just start.
Quiet.
Slow.
Taking a few deep breaths in and out.
I'm going to be using a facial reflexology tool for this,
But you can also use your fingertips.
The back of a spoon,
A pen,
Whatever feels good for you.
We're actually going to start here at the center of the forehead to the side,
Above the end of the eyebrow,
Right at the center of the head,
Right here.
Right here on the edge at the side.
We're doing small circles,
Going right or left,
Clockwise,
Counterclockwise,
It doesn't matter.
This nice,
Slow,
Easy taking some long slow breaths in and out relaxing your forehead We're going to move to the other side.
Notice any of these spots are feeling particularly sensitive.
You can spend more time there.
Hmm.
And then we're gonna come down here all the way down to the side of the nose.
Get right here in the corner.
Long slow inhale,
Long slow exhale,
Just breathing.
Nice gentle circles.
Go to the other side.
Right here at the side of the nose.
Breathing in and out.
Then we're going to come down here.
I'm going to kind of measure from the side of the nose over to the cheek,
So down below the eye to the side of the nose.
Just right here on the apple of the cheek.
Little circles Who's breathing?
Relaxing.
And then we're going to do that same point on the other side.
Great care.
And from here We're going to do this little spot.
Near the nose,
Created here.
And then we're gonna come out here.
Right about where you see my mole,
Actually,
Right here.
We'll do this spot on both sides as well.
And if you have a mole like me anywhere on your face,
Just go around it.
Go up,
Down to the side.
Going to the other side.
Very good.
Okay and then from here I'm going to encourage you to just take your hands and just do a nice along the forehead.
Is really gentle.
Really,
Really gentle.
You can even place your hands on your forehead.
My partner suffers from migraines and his favorite thing is just when I lay my hands over his eyes.
So just do this for yourself.
Breathing in and out.
So gentle.
You can go.
A little massage around the mouth.
And along any of those points that we already worked on.
Appear.
And down here Very good.
And then you can take your hands.
Side of the ear like this,
Just really gentle.
The backs of the ears,
Rub the ears,
And then come back here.
Very good.
I'm going to leave you here for now.
My name is Jessica Amos.
Until next time.
May you stay with yourself today and always.
