Did you lose a loved one in 2021 and are still grieving the loss?
Has this loss left an empty space in your heart or is there some other trauma you are going through?
I pray that this meditation will heal the pain and the hurt that you may be feeling at this time.
Let's begin.
Begin in a comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.
Find a comfortable position.
Gently close your eyes or have your eyes half closed with the eye gaze turned inward.
Now draw your attention to your breath for the next several minutes.
Take a breath.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Inhale.
And hold.
And exhale.
Inhale.
And hold.
And exhale.
Inhale.
And hold.
And exhale.
Return to your normal breathing.
Turn your attention inward,
Become aware of your physical body.
What do you feel?
Let's do a body scan.
Starting from the soles of your feet,
Wrapping around your ankles,
Your legs,
Thighs,
Arms,
Knees,
Hips,
Core,
Ribs,
Chest,
Your hands,
Arms,
Your lower back,
Your hips,
Your lower back,
Upper back,
Shoulders,
Neck,
Face,
And the crown of your head.
Seek your awareness deep into your body.
Become aware of any pain or tension that you're feeling in your body.
Reflect on a part of your body or your life that you would like true healing.
Where are you experiencing pain?
Wherever you feel the pain,
Place your hand there.
Envision clearing your body of pain or tension by grounding that energy.
Visualize a huge oak tree.
The tree has leaves of red,
Gold,
And purple.
As the leaves of the tree are swinging in the wind,
Imagine that you are sitting under that beautiful tree.
Like the tree's roots,
Imagine that your grounding cord goes deep into the ground to the center of the earth.
Allow all the pain and tension that you're feeling in your body and heart to go down through that grounding cord.
Let's take some breaths.
Inhale and hold.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale.
Inhale and hold.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale.
Inhale and hold.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale.
Allow this new energy to replace the pain that is in your body.
Allow this energy to make your body feel at peace.
Allow this energy to replace the old energy that is going down your grounding cord.
Take a gentle breath towards the heart,
Allowing your heart space to fill with love and compassion.
Your heart space is open and welcoming.
Let's take four heart breaths.
Inhale through the back of the heart,
Exhale through the front of the heart.
Inhale through the back of the heart,
Exhale through the front of the heart.
Inhale through the back of the heart,
Exhale through the front of the heart.
Inhale through the back of the heart,
Exhale through the front of the heart.
Allow this new energy to surround you like a cocoon.
You feel the warmth,
The softness,
And strength of the love.
Allow this love to replace the pain and tension that you're feeling.
Let's take one more breath together.
