Welcome.

My name is Stephanie Randall and my meditation for today is calming negative thoughts.

Begin in a comfortable place,

In a comfortable position where you won't be disturbed.

Gently close your eyes or have your eyes half closed with the eye gaze turned inward.

Now draw your attention to your breath for the next several minutes.

Let's begin.

Inhale and hold and exhale.

Inhale and hold and exhale.

Inhale and hold and exhale.

Return to your normal breathing,

Allowing your focus to be on the rise and fall of your chest.

If thoughts arise,

See those thoughts as clouds in the sky.

Let them go by.

You don't have to attach or entertain those thoughts.

Just let them go by.

Now turn your focus inward.

Visualize a bubble.

This bubble is three feet in front of you.

Take the negative thoughts that you have in your head and in your heart and put them inside of that bubble.

Now visualize a second bubble.

In this bubble,

Put the new energy that will help you to overcome those negative thoughts.

Now merge those two bubbles together.

Now add the new bubble into your spirit.

The new energy.

Allow the new energy to balance and ground you.

Allow this new energy to calm the negative thoughts.

Let's take a few breaths.

Inhale and hold and exhale.

Inhale and hold and exhale.

Return to your normal breathing.

Continue to feel the new energy calming the negative thoughts.

This completes the meditation.

Namaste,

Peace and blessings.

Namaste.

In-laws are coming into town, and they have no idea that I’m recovering from a violent assault & Xanax addiction. I was melting down, trembling & on the verge of a panic attack from all my fears, my weakened physical/mental state, and trying to get done all the work that needs to be completed. This meditation helped to soothe my terrified mind & calm me down so I can get back to my work and try to calmly face a visit that I do NOT want. Thank you for making this!!!
