This guided morning meditation will help you start your day with a free spirit and peaceful heart. Once a person has completed this practice, they should feel calm, centered, and open to whatever they encounter throughout their day.

This morning we will start our day with a breathing meditation.

This meditation will help center and balance you.

It will fill your soul,

Fill your body with new energy that will help you get through your day.

So let's begin in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed.

Now find a comfortable position.

Gently close your eyes or have your eyes half closed with the eye gaze turned inward.

Now draw your attention to your breath.

For the next several minutes we will do the box breathing method.

Let's begin.

Inhale one two three four and hold one two three four and exhale one two three four and hold one two three and four.

Again inhale one two three four and hold for one two three four and exhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four.

Inhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four and exhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four.

Return to your normal breathing.

Turn your awareness to your body.

Allow your body to be open and receptive.

Allow your body to be free.

Let's breathe again.

Inhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four and exhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four.

Again inhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four and exhale one two three and four and hold one two three and four.

Return to your normal breathing.

Allow your mind to be free.

Allow the new energy to radiate through your body.

Feel the new energy.

You are free.

You are peaceful.

You are calm.

You are open to whatever today brings.

You are centered.

You are balanced.

This new energy allows you to move through the universe with ease with no worry and no fear.

Let's take a few more breaths.

Inhale one two three four and hold for one two three and four and exhale for one two three and four and hold one two three and four and inhale one two three and four and hold for one two three and four and exhale for one two three and four and hold for one two three and four.

Allow your mind,

Body and spirit to be free.
