Welcome.

I'm Stephanie Randall,

And I will be guiding your relaxation and grounding meditation today.

In this video,

I will be showing you how to do a full-time yoga practice.

If you are sitting in a chair,

See if you can sit off the back of the chair with your feet firmly planted on the floor.

You can also sit on the floor with your legs crossed and a cushion placed behind you.

Or you can lay on your back.

If you choose the last position,

Lay with your arms to your sides and your hands facing up or down.

Now find a comfortable position.

Take a breath.

Inhale.

And exhale,

Letting it go.

Gently close your eyes or have your eyes half closed with the eye gaze turned inward.

Now draw your attention to your breath for the next several minutes.

Count your breaths backwards.

For six to one.

Let's begin.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Six.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Five.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Four.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Three.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

Two.

Inhale.

Pause.

Exhale.

One.

Turn to your normal breathing.

Turn your awareness to your heart space.

Put your hands on your heart space.

Relaxing the hands into the heart space.

Take a gentle breath towards the heart,

Allowing your heart space to fill with love and compassion.

Feel the energy from your heart space flowing through your body.

It flows from the soles of your feet,

Wrapping around your ankles,

Legs,

Thighs,

Hips,

Core.

Through your ribs,

Chest,

Hands,

Arms,

Lower back,

Upper back,

Shoulders,

Neck,

Face,

And the crown of your head.

Let's ground our energy now into the earth.

Bring your attention to your spine.

Envision a big grounding chord from your spine that extends deep into the center of the earth.

You can imagine a large oak tree with leaves of gold,

Purple,

And red.

Its trunk going down deep into the earth's center with the roots wrapping around the core of the earth.

Notice what it feels like to be completely grounded and centered to the center of the earth.

Through your grounding chords,

Begin to release all energy you have been holding onto.

All stress,

Thoughts,

Worry.

Become aware of the energy in your life.

Is it open?

Is it stuck in some places?

Imagine smaller grounding chords coming from areas of pain in your body.

Feel all resistance and tension move down through those grounding chords.

You can imagine this is a dark water that moves down through the grounding chords moving easily and smoothly.

Let everything go down through those grounding chords into the center of the earth.

Notice what you feel as you consciously empty the body and empty the mind.

Imagine a golden sun with liquid gold going through your grounding chords.

The energy radiates throughout your body,

Renewing your body,

Spirit,

And mind.

Continue with your breath.

Your in breath and your out breath.

Listen to the rise and fall of your chest.

Now take this time to set an intention for your day.

Gently concentrate on your intention.

I am calm.

I am peaceful.

I am love.

I am calm.

I am peaceful.

I am love.

I am calm.

I am peaceful.

I am love.

Your guided meditation is now complete.

Namaste,

Peace,

And blessings.

Thank you.

You are welcome.
