This guided meditation promotes imagination and visualization. Once a child has completed the practice, they should feel relaxed and ready for bed. This is a great meditation to use for children that have a hard time getting to sleep or need a way to unwind from their day.

Hi,

Let's go on an adventure.

Gently close your eyes.

And let's take some belly breaths.

Put your hand on your belly.

Fill your belly with air.

Hold it and then let it out through your mouth.

Fill your belly up with air.

Hold it and then let it out through your mouth.

Let's do it one more time.

Fill your belly up with air.

Hold it and then let it out through your mouth.

Imagine a beautiful sandy beach with the sun touching your skin.

Can you feel the sun?

See the beautiful ocean that is around you.

Run into the water.

Can you feel the water as it tickles your toes as you dance?

Look at that seashell.

Pick it up.

It's brown and white and you lift it to your ear to see what you can hear.

As you play around in the warm water,

You look up and you see a beautiful white horse.

The horse walks towards you and stops.

You get up on the horse as the horse waits for your command.

Where do you want to go?

The horse begins to walk slowly and begins to speed up to a trot.

You can feel the wind against your face.

The horse leaves the ground and you feel yourself floating up and up and up to the sky.

How do you feel?

You look down and you can see the beach,

The water,

And the mountains.

The horse takes you high into the sky allowing you to enjoy the scenery.

Finally,

The horse takes you down like a seesaw on the ground.

The horse drops you at the edge of the beach so you can feel the water one last time.

You wave goodbye to the horse as it heads back into the forest with a smile on its face.

What an adventure.

Let's take one more belly breath.

Put your hands on your belly,

Fill your belly up with air,

Hold it,

And then let it out through your mouth.

Good night.

Thanks for watching!
