So instead of looking at our seat from the top of our head, we ARE in our seat. This is the very first step in grounding. We let everything start sinking downward and a relaxation begins to occur. When we start to relax it feels like we are unwinding. Our muscles and connective tissues are unwinding, as the mind starts to relax.

We're going to become aware of our seat and drop down.

We're going to shift from thinking to feeling.

And we're going to drop down so that we can feel our seat on the chair.

And it's almost a palpable drop into the body of the consciousness and awareness.

So instead of looking at your seat from on top of your head,

You're in your seat.

And this is the very first step in grounding.

So we're going to let everything start sinking downward.

And with this sinking downward,

There is a relaxation that begins to occur.

Just the fact that we're in our minds and the minds are kind of very active,

Creative,

And downward in the mind.

And we're going to let everything start sinking downward.

And with this sinking downward,

There is a relaxation that begins to occur.

Just the fact that we're in our minds and the minds are kind of very active creates a certain level of tension in our body.

And the musculature responds to that tension,

So it starts to batten down.

And it battens down in a spiral formation so that when we start to relax,

It feels like we're unwinding.

Basically our muscles and connective tissue are spiraled throughout the body and they respond immediately to the mind.

And as the mind relaxes,

So does the body.

The shoulders start to drop down.

The neck starts to release.

The cranial bones start to float a little more easily when they don't have a chattering mind sitting on top of them.

And remember,

We're working with the lower three chakras.

Not lower in importance,

But lower in their numbers.

And so we're going to be releasing as we relax,

We release some emotions and some anxiety,

Maybe a little depression,

Some compulsive thinking,

Some reactive thinking and feeling.

All of that starts to become a little more intense.

And we're starting to slow down and dissipate as we become more embodied and more centered in the root chakra.

Now if you remember,

The root chakra is about safety and security.

So if we start to feel safe and secure,

Then we don't need to compensate with compulsive or reactive thinking and feeling.

We don't have to be in a defensive mode where we're protecting ourselves against a threat.

And so a lot gets to release at this point.

We don't really understand most of the time how much we are defending against the world and against ourself until we come in and start making this a safe haven for us to be within the body.

Now this is a process,

So we're doing it inch by inch by inch.

We're doing it inch by inch here.

I want you to feel as much of the detail as possible.

At some point you'll just be able to drop in,

Drop down and get grounded.

But I want you to understand the process.

So if you have a release because something's been held or hidden from view and then your body goes through a cleansing reaction,

Which it sounds like Donna's was,

Then the effect after the grounding will be that type of release.

And then you'll be ahead of the game afterwards.

When we have trauma,

It gets held in the body.

And when we start to feel safe,

That gets a chance to release.

Now sometimes it surprises us that we do get over emotional in the release because we're feeling the emotions very poignantly.

And that's okay.

It's a process of separating the emotions out from the body so they don't have to be shunted through the body.

Okay.

Now remember we're going to let the seat sink and spread.

And then the tailbone can drop and release.

It's just a little tiny bit,

But it has a big effect.

So if you can imagine the seat spreading and the pelvis spreading,

Which then becomes spacious enough for the tailbone to be able to drop and release as well.

And then you may have to adjust how you're sitting because if the tailbone drops and releases,

Then your whole spine wants to readjust.

So go ahead and do that.

And draw your attention back to yourself,

Knowing that you do not have to focus your attention towards me.

Listen to me with your whole self,

With your whole body,

Not with the mind,

Just like we practiced yesterday.

And then we invite the thighs to relax and release.

Let them spread out a little more and let the knees spread out a little more.

That releases the lower back.

And then we come down to the calf muscles.

And we take an energetic read of the calf muscles.

And we do that by sensing what the right one feels like and what the left one feels like.

Is one darker?

Is one lighter?

Is one higher?

Is one lower?

Is one puffier?

Is one flatter?

Does one have one color and another has another color?

Does it have a sound?

Do they have sounds?

And how are they different?

We're just taking an energetic read because that's not what.

.

.

I mean your calf muscles look probably perfectly normal from the outside.

But from the inside,

We're taking an energetic read.

And by doing that,

We're bringing a beautiful intuitive awareness to the calf muscles and inviting them to balance out and release any tension that's in the calf muscles.

Now what I've found is the calf muscles are one of the best barometers in the body of our tension,

Body tension.

You can trick yourself into believing that you're relaxed.

But then if you check in with your calf muscles and they're not balanced out and kind of fluffy and light,

Then there's some kind of tension going on in the body.

So I actually check in with my calf muscles several times a day to really get a true read on my tension level.

Now we'll add one little thing here that I like to do.

I like to ask each calf what color it would like to be swirled in.

And I ask them individually because very often my right calf wants one color and my left calf wants another.

And so why don't you go ahead and do that?

And it would be like swirling.

.

.

It could be one color or multiple colors,

Kind of like magician's handkerchiefs and multiple colors swirling around the calf muscles that help them feel good and relaxed.

And there's no right color.

It's whatever you feel.

And you'll just know it.

And you'll have a sense of when your calf muscles are happy and fully released.

And then we will travel on down to the soles of the feet and find the energetic centers in the middle of each arch.

And you'll know it.

You'll know exactly where that is.

It can be a little different on each foot.

And it's something that you sense,

Just like you sense the center of your palm.

And again,

With this intuitive attention,

The energy center begins to activate.

And you may feel that as a temperature change,

As a tingle,

Colors and sounds.

And any way it feels like something's happening there.

You just might feel good.

And then once those centers activate,

The energy starts swirling downward into the earth.

And it doesn't matter if you're on a plane five minutes or so,

You're on a plane five minutes.

And you're swirling downward into the earth.

And it doesn't matter if you're on a plane five miles in the air,

On the top of the key bank building,

Or in your backyard.

It doesn't matter.

The energy will be drawn downward.

Allow the energy to take its course downward.

And you might feel it wiggling and making its way through the earth.

And at this point you could greet Mother Earth with your heart,

And greet the spirit of the land where you're sitting.

And you're making a connection with your chi,

Your energy,

And with your heart,

A loving connection.

And I'll be quiet for a few moments so you can feel this.

And we're going to trust that the energy is drawing with it any toxins or heavy energy that is available to flow out and down into the earth to be received by Mother Earth as a generous offering.

And now we're coming into reciprocal exchange with her,

The way we are in reciprocal exchange with the trees.

As they breathe out oxygen,

And we breathe that in,

And we breathe out carbon dioxide,

And they breathe that in,

We are starting to develop a relationship with Mother Earth right now,

Reconnecting in a very natural way to a huge source of energy,

Comfort,

Support that we've been taught to ignore.

And at this point you might be feeling a very heavy downward pull,

And we allow that to happen.

If you feel like you sink right into the earth,

That's perfectly fine.

Now there will be a point where it feels like the roots are securely connected and deeply set in the earth.

And you may connect all the way down to the fiery center or the crystalline magnetic center.

It will be different and unique for each person.

But at one point you'll know that the downward flow has come to a still point.

You still may feel heavy and downward weighted,

But you'll feel like those roots have come to a still point.

And at a certain point the energy will start opening up from that point,

And the vital energy will start coming up from that point.

And at a certain point the energy will start opening up from that point,

And the vital energy from deep within the earth will start flowing upward.

Now we're not quite at that point yet,

So we'll pause and relax into this.

And don't try to imagine this.

This is something you will feel.

And trying to imagine it will block the experience.

I can tell that some of you are picturing it,

And we don't want to do that right now.

We really want to be patient and wait and be surprised by the experience we might have.

There may be energy flowing all the way up your body already,

And you may not have noticed it yet.

And now we're going to pause and relax.

And some of you may feel like you're just sinking into the light.

It can be a very creative experience,

So go with what you're feeling rather than what you think should be happening.

You're really going to have to trust your own experience at this point.

I can see that it's happening for everyone,

But it's not happening the way you expect.

And I can also see that the light of our entire circle is starting to build very strongly.

So remember when you were standing in the circle with your group yesterday and the energy was building and it was getting higher and higher frequency when we called in our higher beings?

We are simultaneously experiencing that type of very high frequency energy as a group as well.

And that happens when each member of a group grounds.

It creates a very intense,

Powerful group light field.

So right now you are grounded within yourself,

And in reciprocal flow with Mother Earth,

And also within the light field of the group.

There's two dimensions of experience going on here.

I should mention that as the light gets higher in your body,

It gets more and more refined and a little more subtle to feel.

Your hands may be activating.

Let the energy flow.

And again,

If you watch the energy,

You will not feel the energy,

And you'll block the energy.

You have to feel it become more merged with the energy.

And again,

If you watch the energy,

You will not feel the energy,

And if you watch the energy,

You will not feel the energy,

And you'll block the energy.

You have to feel it become merged with the energy.

As the energy is making its way through the body and the field,

It is bringing light and vitality to the physical,

To the physical,

To the physical,

To the physical,

And to the emotional and mental.

It's bringing a much stronger vital energy to your whole entire being,

And it does this very intelligently.

Like we said yesterday,

It awakens the Kundalini within your body,

Which is all-wise and all-knowing and a great cauldron of all the knowledge that exists within your being,

Within the whole cosmos.

And so it awakens a healing intelligence and an enlightened intelligence,

And this energy will try to bring your being,

Your body,

Your emotions,

Your thoughts into alignment with your higher purpose,

Your higher being.

So if things are out of whack or out of alignment with your higher being,

There's going to be a correction process.

That can go on,

Which is one of the things that you may be experiencing too,

Donna.

And we're all experiencing it.

It's not just Donna,

But we're always pulled away from our higher being and the trajectory that our soul is guiding us through,

And we're always pulled away in a certain sense.

And by grounding and aligning with this energy,

Awakening this wisdom,

We're brought back.

We return to the core of our being and the harmony of being in tune with our soul's purpose and our inner wisdom.

And as you can imagine,

Going through a day in life,

There can be such a huge gap between what our inner wisdom knows and what's happening in life.

And that gap is what gets rectified in grounding.

Sometimes we're not able to adjust for what we know,

And then it sets up some conflict,

And we have to purify that,

And we burn through it in multiple ways,

Either with situations that are brought to us in life to teach us,

Through illness,

Or through emotional up and downs.

But things will be brought to us to help us burn through the heavy energies that block aligning with our inner wisdom.

Now at some point the energy will start fountaining up through the crown chakra in a beautiful fountain of energy that flows around your entire body,

Circulating back through the feet.

This is called a toroidal field.

There's a picture of it in your manual.

And in the center of that toroidal field is an axis of light,

A core light,

That is the river of your being,

Of your soul.

Your soul is not a person,

It's a frequency.

And when we align with this light and this central axis,

We're aligning with our soul.

Now as that fountaining energy opens up,

It attracts the light from above,

Father Sky,

The masculine energy.

You don't create this,

Don't conjure it,

Don't picture it,

You'll feel it if you can allow yourself.

It will naturally be attracted,

And it will beam down through the center of that fountain and connect with your light axis.

And the two beams will start swirling together,

Forming the marriage between heaven and earth,

And balancing out the masculine and the feminine,

The above and below,

Left and right,

And streaming through all the chakras,

Bringing us into a state of wholeness.

I'll be quiet for a few moments again.

And as we go down,

We'll start to feel the light,

The light of the universe,

The light of the universe,

And the light of the universe.

And as we go down,

We'll start to feel the light.

As these energies are flowing,

Spiraling through the chakras,

They'll be activating and clearing,

Purifying many levels of our consciousness.

The more we do this,

The more integrated our consciousness becomes,

And the more intuitive insight and wisdom we have access to.

Eventually,

The heart chakra becomes the center of integration,

And it becomes a portal to the many dimensions of our being.

And as we go down,

We'll start to feel the light.

So as we practice this deeper grounding,

It becomes more and more appealing to us to practice more of a superficial grounding during the day.

You can't obviously go into a deep grounding like this when you're trying to function,

But this supports an ongoing energetic attuning that will align you differently within your being in a much more secure,

Soul-aligned way.

And so every time you get a chance during the day to feel your feet and feet,

And feel the security of being grounded in the depth of your being,

And in the depth of Mother Earth and Father Sky,

You start to see life differently,

And your body is more and more powerful.

You start to see life differently,

And your body and emotions and mind start to react differently from reacting to responding.

Now feel your feet and your hands,

And start to feel the more physical flow at your feet and at your hands,

And begin to feel your breath,

And we're going to start coming back.

And you'll feel yourself starting to condense back.

We were expanded.

We were embodied and expanded.

You didn't leave your body.

But we're going to start feeling the physical boundaries of our bodies now,

And maybe coming back to that weighted feeling.

And then wiggle your toes and your fingers,

Stretch a little,

And you'll actually feel your mind coming back online a bit.

That's okay.

It's a more purified mind now,

More alive now.

And then you'll feel your body coming back online a bit.

That's okay.

It's a more purified mind now,

More aligned and in harmony with every other dimension of your being.

Try not to press with it.

Allow it to relax.

Let it be the light that it is.

And take a few more deep breaths.

Good.

And open your eyes.

And now we're going to start feeling the physical boundaries of our bodies.

And we're going
