I am Gabriella and this is a short guided meditation called Compassionate Warrior of the Heart.
Coming to a seated position with legs crossed or feet touching the floor if you're sitting on a chair and taking a moment to close down your eyes,
Taking a deep breath in through the nose and as you exhale allow your body to soften into stillness,
Feel the ground beneath you steady and unwavering.
Now bring your attention to your heart,
Not just the physical beat but the space within your chest glowing softly with life.
Visualise a gentle flame here,
Golden and warm.
This is the fire of compassion,
Tender yet unbreakable.
With every inhale feel this flame grow brighter,
With every exhale sense it expanding beyond your body,
Touching the world around you.
Now imagine yourself standing tall like a warrior,
But this is no ordinary warrior,
Your strength comes not from armour or weapons but from the depth of your heart.
See yourself holding both courage and kindness in balance.
You protect without closing off,
You stand strong yet your heart remains open.
Repeat silently to yourself,
I am strong,
I am compassionate,
I am a warrior of the heart.
Feel these words anchoring in your body,
Filling you with both power and gentleness.
Now let the image of the warrior dissolve,
Leaving only the radiant warmth of compassion glowing in your heart.
Take in a slow breath now,
And a long breath out.
When you are ready gently return to the present moment,
Carrying this balance of courage and compassion with you.
