Take a moment and notice how your body feels positioned in the chair,
And if you have not already done so,
Take a position for meditation.
A calm,
Confident posture.
Not rigid,
But confident.
Straight up,
Shoulders back,
Hips grounded into your seat.
Take a moment and notice your breath.
Notice how easy or difficult it is to fill your lungs and just allow yourself to find a natural pace of breathing.
And if it's helpful for you to take some deeper breaths,
Do that now.
If not,
Just continue that natural pace of breathing.
And settle in.
And as you settle into the breath,
Allow your body to settle into the chair,
Or the bed,
Or the floor,
Or the couch,
Wherever you find yourself for this moment.
Notice where your hands are resting.
Notice the temperature of your skin on your hands.
Notice the temperature in between your fingers.
Notice the weight of your hands resting.
And notice your whole body resting.
And notice the music as it begins.
Nothing that's happened before.
Music has ended for now.
Simplifying the end of our practice.
Allow yourself to fully experience all that this meditation has to bring when you're ready.
