As Amit Ray says,

Grit is living with a sense of mission,

Not for the attainment of a goal,

But as a fulfilling purpose in itself.

Hi there and welcome to your meditation on grit.

You can listen to this meditation seated,

Lying down,

Or even going for a walk.

Tune in to what your body needs right now.

If it is available to you,

Gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out.

Feel the support beneath you and allow yourself to relax into this present moment.

Grit is living with a sense of mission,

Not for the attainment of a goal,

But as a fulfilling purpose in itself.

Allow these words to resonate within.

Grit is not just about achieving a specific goal.

It is about living with purpose,

Embracing the journey,

And finding fulfillment in every step you take towards your dreams.

As you think about grit,

Who comes to mind?

Perhaps a role model,

A friend,

Or a family member who embodies inspired grit.

What life challenge did they navigate when they tapped into their inner grit?

Maybe it was an athletic feat,

A mountain trail run,

Maybe beating cancer,

Perhaps navigating a courageous conversation,

Or leaving a career and leaping into something new.

How did this person respond?

Did they persevere with grit despite the obstacles?

Grit is about refusing to quit because you know deep down that what you desire is worth the effort.

It's about tapping into your inner strength,

Your resilience,

And your determination to keep going.

And remember,

If you can see it in someone else,

You have it within you as well.

The most important part,

Allow yourself to keep your head up and search for the detours ahead that may lead you in the direction of despair or hopelessness.

Those roads are often the should roads.

The way you think you should go,

Or the way you think you should be successful,

The way you think you should make money.

Stop shoulding.

Follow your energetic path forward.

Your energetic grit will guide you in the right direction while navigating plenty of detours simply as obstacles leading you onward.

Together let's focus on four key qualities that are essential to grit.

Grace,

Resilience,

Integrity,

And tenacity.

Repeat these following affirmations.

Grace,

I move through challenges with ease and poise.

I trust in my ability to handle whatever comes my way with grace and dignity.

I have the strength and determination to pursue my goals relentlessly.

I am tenacious and I never give up on my dreams.

Allowing the energy of these affirmations to vibrate with resonance.

Allowing the energy of these affirmations to vibrate with resonance as you start to elongate your inhales and your exhales,

Bringing a complete awareness to your inhale and a cleansing to your exhale and gently floating both hands to rest on top of your heart space,

Acknowledging the love and grit within and acknowledging all emotions and experiences that you carry because all of you matters.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Whenever you feel ready,

Gently floating your eyes open and returning back to your space,

Sending love and peace.
