Confidence is not just a feeling; it is a state of being. It is the courage to pick up where you left off, to prevail, and to persevere through adversity. It is the unwavering belief in your own potential and in your own abilities. True confidence lies within the self, not in any particular outcome. It is about believing in yourself, regardless of the results. In this meditation, you will design a confident self, one that is not dependent on external validation or specific achievements. This is a great meditation to use when you are needing to tap into your inner confidence.

The Dalai Lama says,

With realization of one's own potential and self-confidence in one's ability,

One can build a better world.

Hey,

Hannah here,

And I welcome and acknowledge you for being here.

Today's meditation is on confidence.

You can listen to this meditation seated,

Lying down,

Or even going for a walk.

Tune in to what your body needs at this time.

If it's available to you,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths in and out.

Feel the support beneath you,

And just allow yourself to relax into this moment.

And just for this moment,

Let go of any distractions or thoughts about the past or future.

Together,

Let's take three giant belly breaths as we use our breath to activate rest and safety throughout the body.

Inhaling through your nose as you fill up your belly with air,

Slight pause at the top,

And an open mouth exhale as you sigh it out,

Ah.

Now repeat this breath two more times on your own cadence.

Inhale,

Pause,

Exhale.

One more time through.

Confidence is not just a feeling.

It's a state of being.

Confidence is the courage to pick up where you left off,

To prevail,

And to persevere through adversity.

It's the unwavering belief in your own potential.

As you breathe in,

Visualize this confidence filling your body,

Mind,

And spirit.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing the energy of confidence in,

And with each exhale,

Releasing any doubts or fears that may be holding you back.

True confidence lies within,

Within yourself,

Not in any particular outcome.

Confidence is believing in yourself regardless of the results.

We can design a confident self,

One that is not dependent on external validation or specific achievements.

Let's focus on cultivating a deep inner confidence.

Know that you are capable,

You are strong,

And you are worthy.

Let's visualize this confidence in action.

Picture yourself in a situation where you would like to feel more confident.

Maybe standing in front of the weight rack at the gym,

Asking your crush out for the first time,

Having a courageous conversation with your boss,

Ending a friendship that no longer feels aligned.

Now see yourself standing tall with a calm and steady presence.

Notice how your body feels,

Relaxed yet powerful.

Your mind is clear,

Focused,

And free of doubt.

Imagine yourself moving through this situation with ease,

Handling any challenges with grace and assurance.

Feel the confidence radiating from within,

Influencing your thoughts,

Your actions,

And your interactions with others.

Let's reinforce this sense of confidence with some affirmations.

Gently repeat each phrase after me,

Allowing the words to sink in.

I am confident in my abilities.

I trust myself to handle whatever comes my way.

My confidence is unshakable and comes from within.

I believe in my potential to create a better world.

Take a few moments to just sit with these feelings of confidence.

Know that you can return to this stage whenever you need it.

Confidence is always within,

Ready to be accessed and nurtured.

Letting in some deeper inhales,

Cleansing exhales,

Holding both hands to rest on top of your heart,

Acknowledging the love and confidence within,

And acknowledging all emotions and all experiences that you carry,

Because all of you matters.

Slowly beginning to bring some movement to your fingers and toes,

Wrapping yourself in a giant bear hug as you sway side to side,

Re-arriving back into your physical body.

Whenever you feel ready,

Gently folding your eyes open and returning to your space,

Sending love,

Peace,

And confidence.
