In this mountain visualization, you are guided through a progressive relaxation, and given time with gentle background music to integrate any healing you may be working on. If you receive healing treatments of any kind, this is the perfect post-treatment meditation to integrate all progress you've made into your body, mind, and soul.

And in this meditation we are just going to focus on relaxation,

Rest,

Integrating the healing.

And so I will lead you through kind of a guided scene to get you relaxed and then I will give you the space and the time to integrate your own healing in whatever way is best for you.

And so I just ask that you would settle into wherever you are sitting or lying down.

Just feel the weight of your body on that piece of furniture.

Allow yourself to just sink into it.

Go ahead and take a deep breath in through your nose and out the mouth.

Taking another deep breath in and on the exhale just let go.

Go ahead and breathe out and let it all go.

This third breath take a deep inhale and now as you exhale release anything in your lungs,

Any tension that you might be holding onto.

Just allow it all to go away.

Let's just imagine that we are in a beautiful cabin up in the mountains.

You're standing on the porch of this cabin and as you look out you see the beautiful snow capped mountain tops to your left and to your right is a beautiful lake.

This lake is mostly still but there are a few waves lapping up onto the shore.

You take a step off of this cabin's porch,

Walk down the steps and into the grass.

Your feet are bare,

You're not wearing shoes.

That's so you can feel the cool grass under your feet.

That cool earth blow it.

You feel with every step that you are connecting to Mother Earth and all that she has to offer you in this beautiful place.

As you walk you notice a hammock that is strung between two trees.

This hammock is large and inviting.

It has a pillow.

So you walk over to the hammock and imagine yourself gently sitting down,

Swinging your legs up onto the hammock and gently easing yourself back.

As you lay in this hammock you look around you.

You feel a gentle breeze blowing through,

Softly rustling your hair and touching your skin.

You feel the warm sun coming down from the sky,

Gently warming your skin,

Allowing you to feel comfortable and taken care of.

You can also hear those gentle waves rolling up to the shore,

Softly cleansing and clearing anything that might be bothering you.

Allow it to just drift away.

As you lay here on the hammock I want you to feel deep rest,

Deep rejuvenating,

Balancing rest.

So we will do progressive relaxation.

Feel a warmth at the top of your head,

The crown of your head right in the center.

Feel this relaxation slowly moving down your skull,

Around your forehead and temples,

Moving gently as a wave,

Softening your eyebrows,

Your eyes,

Letting go of any tension in your cheeks and your mouth,

Relaxing the jaw and the chin.

Moving down now you feel this relaxing light loosening your throat,

Letting go of any tension in your neck and the tops of your shoulders.

Allow this warm light to continue moving down your arms,

Releasing any tension in your biceps,

The backs of your arms,

The forearm.

Moving down now to your hands,

You hold so much tension here.

Relax your palms and your fingers.

Allow them to just feel heavy and relaxed.

Feel this light moving down now through your chest,

Softening your heart,

Relaxing your upper back and moving down now over your ribs,

Your stomach,

Your lower back,

Releasing any tension,

Anything that you might be holding onto,

Just allow it to go.

Feel this warm light continuing over your hips and your pelvis,

The tops of your thighs,

The backs of your thighs,

Letting them feel heavy,

Heavy.

Feel this warmth moving now over your knees,

Your shins and calves,

Moving now to the back of the ankle,

The heel,

The arches of the foot and the top of your foot and feeling now this heavy light over your toes.

Feel what it's like to be fully relaxed in this state,

Allowing your body to just sink into this hammock,

To just experience nature in this way.

This place holds all that you need to integrate healing.

You are here for a reason.

You are this relaxed for a reason.

We call in now the energy of rest,

Rejuvenation,

Relaxation.

We ask that all the healing that has been done,

All the work that has been done would be integrated now into your body,

Your mind and your soul so that you may come into balance,

To be a happier,

More fulfilled version of yourself.

And now take a moment to sit in silence,

Feeling the heaviness of your body,

Imagining this beautiful mountain scene and take this time to integrate all the healing that you have done.

You you you you you you and now slowly coming back after allowing this wonderful time to integrate your healing slowly come back into your body and give thanks for this time to feel rest to feel the rejuvenation to feel the rebalancing we are so grateful for this time of integration and now take a moment in your mind to look back around this landscape these incredible mountains this lake the sun and the breeze and the hammock the grass and the earth below you and lets offer thanks to mother earth for this space for this healing place that she has provided for us and slowly when you feel ready begin to wiggle your toes wiggle your fingers gently start to move your arms and your legs and come back in your consciousness to the space that you are in and slowly open your eyes
