Let's begin by taking a deep breath into the center of the heart,
Exhaling and surrendering your body to the earth,
Continuing to follow your breath,
With each inhale expanding your chest,
And then surrendering as you breathe out.
And on your next inhale in,
Right into the center of your heart,
You see your heart begin to glow with a beautiful light.
With every inhale,
You expand that light as it begins to encompass your entire body,
Until you feel yourself floating,
Held in this beautiful light.
And inside of this light,
You suddenly hear the sound of crashing waves,
In the light like a veil begins to open and you find yourself standing on a beautiful white sand beach.
Allow your landscape to appear around you,
Feeling your feet in the cold sand,
The colors of the palm trees behind you,
The blue of the ocean,
The color of the sky,
The sound of the wind.
And I want you to call in a helping spirit,
A guide on this journey of letting go.
They might come in animal form up from the ocean,
A being,
Ancestor,
Or light,
Walking towards you on the sand.
Trust what you see,
And you and your guide make your way down to the water's edge,
As you place your feet in the cool water.
The waves rush towards your feet,
And you breathe in deeply,
Receiving the medicine of the ocean,
And you exhale as the water moves back into the sea.
She is breathing,
And you breathe with her.
And she is here to take what is no longer serving you,
Limiting beliefs,
Fears,
Anxieties or negative thoughts about yourself,
Certain images you might have of yourself,
You are clinging onto.
The water represents being in the flow of life,
Surrendering to the cycles of change.
The sea is here to ease your burden and soften your heart towards yourself,
And she asks you to go deep within,
Asking yourself,
What am I hanging onto that isn't serving me anymore?
And you can trust whether the words or images are there or not,
That she will take it from you.
So stand in the water and breathe with her,
Deeply in,
Receive unconditional love,
Trust,
And let go of anything that isn't loving and in deep reverence of who you are,
Exactly in this moment.
Now I want you to take a moment to play,
Let go,
Run in the water,
Dive in the waves,
Allow yourself to access a lightness of being,
Asking what would it look like to be in the mystery instead of the unknown,
To stay open instead of closed,
To be in the present instead of the past.
You lie on the water with gratitude and reverence for the divine that is all around you,
And you thank the ocean for all of her medicine,
Knowing you can return at any time to this place,
To let go,
And to be loved.
