Without noticing it, most of us have built up an armor to protect our fragile heart from feeling pain and getting hurt (again). However, this armor often keeps us from experiencing love, connection & deep intimacy – with ourselves, with the Divine, and with others. This guided meditation and visualization was created with the intention to help you energetically, emotionally and physically open up your heart, to soften the armor, and allow for the healing light of Divine Love to flow through. We will use the nourishing and grounding energies of Mother Earth and connect to our higher Power of Source energy to support us as we invite in more lightness and freedom in our heart space.

Hello,

Love,

And welcome to this guided meditation to de-armor the heart.

Most of us store unresolved emotions and buried feelings,

Pain,

Fear,

And trauma in our heart center,

Our second brain,

And the chakra of harmony and relationships.

The shield we build up and the armor we use to protect our fragile heart works so well.

This armor serves to guard us from any hurt,

Pain,

Judgment,

And vulnerability,

And greatly lessens the risk that we'll ever be betrayed,

Mistreated,

Or wronged in some way again.

However,

This armor often keeps us from experiencing what we long for the most,

Love,

Connection,

And deep intimacy,

Both in here within ourselves and out there with others.

Our heart armor creates walls of separation from our trusted feelings,

Emotions,

And highest knowing stored in the wisdom of our hearts,

And it won't allow us to truly stand in our truth,

In our power,

And express ourselves authentically.

This meditation was created with the intention to help you energetically,

Emotionally,

And physically open up your heart space,

To soften the walls you've built,

And allow yourself to be held in divine white healing light.

You no longer need to protect your heart or internalize your pain,

Anger,

Out of fear of not being loved.

You are already love in its purest form.

You just have to tune in to feel it and release yourself from the own walls that you've created.

We will use the safety and solidity of earth energies and expansiveness of sky energies to support us as we find more lightness and freedom in our heart space,

Slowly and gently releasing ourselves from our own armor.

So if you're ready,

Let's dive in.

First,

Find somewhere quiet for the next 10 to 15 minutes.

Get yourself into a nice,

Comfortable position,

Whether this is sitting down or lying down,

Somewhere that you will not be disturbed.

If it feels comfortable to close your eyes,

You may do so at this time,

Or if you prefer,

You can just gently settle your gaze in a spot in front of you.

Now let's start to bring our awareness to the movement of the breath,

In and out of your body,

Noticing how the air enters through the nose and into your lungs,

And then back out from your lungs,

Through your nose,

Into the room again.

No need to speed it up or slow it down.

Just allow your breath to be whatever it needs to be in this moment.

Allow the breath to anchor you in this moment.

Any time thoughts try to creep in,

Just notice them and accept them.

Allow them to pass on by,

Bringing your awareness back to the movement of the breath in and out of your body.

When you are ready,

Bring your awareness into your heart area and just rest there for a few moments.

The heart area represents your source of unconditional love,

Compassion,

And your inner truth and authenticity.

Notice whether there is any discomfort or tension,

Or perhaps a sense of calmness and peace.

Allow whatever to come up,

Rise,

Without resistance,

Using your breath to simply breathe into your heart space.

Now imagine a cord running down from your heart area into the earth.

Imagine the cord linking your heart to Mother Earth.

Then imagine this cord running down through your entire body,

From your legs and feet,

And entering Mother Earth,

Visualizing roots spreading from your body and this cord into the womb of Mother Earth,

Anchoring you with solidity and strength,

Making you feel grounded and safe.

If it feels comfortable to do so,

You may like to connect to the elements,

To the trees,

To nature,

To the soil,

To any animals that live and reside in Mother Earth.

Invite everything that evokes for you earth energy.

Imagine releasing any tension,

Trauma,

Pain,

And stress from your body down into Mother Earth,

Allowing her to transmute these energies into divine love.

And imagine Mother Earth's healing energies flowing back up through the cord,

Up through your feet,

Up through your legs,

Up through the back of the body,

And finding its way to the heart.

Now imagine a cord running up from your heart area into the sky,

Into the universe above.

Imagine this cord running up through the crown of your head and send the cord as far and as wide as you would like to the sky above.

You may decide to anchor the cord into the sun,

The moon,

The stars,

Or other planets and angels,

Or something else that links to your faith or spirituality.

Whatever resonates for you and that represents a source of divine,

Unconditional love,

Unity,

And grace to you.

Imagine releasing tension,

Trauma,

Pain,

And stress up through your body into your chosen place in the universe,

Allowing this source of unconditional love to transmute these energies into divine love and light.

Now imagine divine healing energies flowing down from your chosen source,

Through the cord,

Down your crown,

Down your face,

Your throat,

And back into your heart space.

Bring your awareness back into your heart,

Into your breath flowing in and out of your heart.

Now bring your mind and feel positive emotions and feelings that you would like to increase in your life.

This may include joy,

Bliss,

Love,

Trust,

Compassion,

Hope,

Courage,

Grace,

Faith,

Strength,

Acceptance,

Or any other positive emotions.

Imagine that feeling or emotion that you most desire to embody gently dropping into your heart space,

Becoming aware of whether there is any resistance or tension as you do this,

And using your breath,

See whether you can embrace this sensation with loving kindness and acceptance.

Imagine your heart pumping this beautiful emotion and feeling,

As well as any healing energies from Mother Earth and your chosen universal support that you have already connected with.

Imagine your heart pumping these energies into every single cell of your body,

Filling your whole system with radiant healing light,

Sending joy,

Bliss,

Love,

Compassion,

Faith,

Acceptance,

Or any other positive emotion that is important for you in this moment.

Imagine that emotion and healing energies enter each cell in your body.

Imagine your body,

An energy field,

Releasing any distress,

Tension,

Pain,

And suffering that you may have been holding onto,

And replace it with loving energy.

Send that energy to every single cell in your body.

Now,

Bring your awareness back into your heart space,

Into your gentle breath moving in and out.

Remember that even when you stopped this meditation,

The effects will continue to last.

You can strengthen or deepen the experience at any time by reminding yourself to connect back into your heart.

The more you allow yourself to practice this,

The stronger the effects will be.

Gently start to feel yourself back into your physical body,

Noticing the contact points of your body on the surfaces that you are in contact with.

Notice the temperature of the environment you are in,

Any smells and sounds in your environment.

Gently you can start wiggling your fingers and toes.

If you have had your eyes closed,

Start cracking them open and reconnecting with your environment.

Noticing what is around you that you can see in the here and now.

If you are feeling slightly lightheaded,

Then imagine sending energy down from your heart down through your body into the ground and anchoring you back in this moment.

Take a deep breath in,

And at this time let's open our arms out wide,

As wide as you can,

And stay here for three breaths.

You can add a nice smile if that feels good for you,

As we shine our heart out into the world as a symbol of your vulnerability and trust.

In whatever life may bring your way,

It is perfect.

You are safe to be who you are.

You are ready to radiate your own healing light,

And you are now free.
