As women,
We've been conditioned to carry so much.
To hold it all together.
To give endlessly.
To be strong,
Capable,
Responsible,
And pleasing.
But here's the truth.
Our feminine power does not come from constantly pushing or trying to do more.
Our feminine power comes from learning how to feel safe in our bodies.
To soften and allow ourselves to bask in our own energy.
To let go of the need to control,
Perfect,
And please.
And to come back to a rhythm that is natural,
Nourishing,
And real.
And relaxation is not laziness.
It's a reclamation.
For when we allow ourselves to relax,
We return to our wholeness.
We reconnect to our intuition,
Our pleasure,
And our flow.
We remember that we are not machines.
We are cyclical,
Living,
Breathing beings.
This meditation is a gentle invitation to remember you are safe.
You are safe.
You are enough.
You are allowed to relax.
So if you're ready,
Let's begin.
Find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed for a few minutes.
And settle into a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Let your eyes softly close.
And let your body begin to exhale.
There's nowhere to go.
Nothing to figure out.
And nothing to perfect.
Just this moment.
This breath.
And this presence.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And a long,
Gentle breath out through your mouth.
And again,
Inhale deeply.
Exhale fully.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw soften.
And let your heart open just a little more.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Sinking deeper into the ground beneath you.
Feeling held here by Mother Earth.
Notice your body relax.
Notice your mind relax.
There is nothing for you to do here.
But to simply breathe and bask in your own energy.
And can you give yourself this permission right now?
To be here with yourself.
To allow the thoughts to come and go.
Undisturbed by them.
Stay curious and open in your heart.
To the different sensations and currents of energy flowing through your veins.
To the life that lives within you.
Speaks to you subtly.
Now invite in this simple,
Yet powerful truth.
It is safe for me to relax.
You can speak these words beneath your breath.
In your mind,
Or simply listen to my words.
It is safe for me to relax.
It is safe for me to relax.
It is safe for me to relax.
Let these words ripple through your body.
There is nothing to control.
You don't have to hold it all.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
You are allowed to rest in the unknown.
Held by Mother Earth.
Notice if there is still tension lingering inside your body.
Consciously with your exhale,
Release that tension with love.
Reminding yourself,
It is safe for me to relax.
Letting go of the need to be perfect.
Letting go of the pressure to always please others.
Letting go of the constant reaching,
Proving and producing.
This is your time to come back home.
To your breath.
To your body.
To your truth.
To your breath.
And to the sacred pause.
Let yourself fall into the arms of life.
Trust.
And it's okay to stop holding it all.
Let it all fall together.
Feel the breath rising.
And falling naturally.
Just like the ocean.
The moon and life itself.
You are part of this beautiful balancing dance.
The expansion and the contraction.
The giving and the receiving.
The doing and the being.
You don't need to be on all the time.
You don't need to strive constantly.
To endlessly climb mountains.
You are allowed to pause.
And enjoy life.
To soften.
And be nourished.
Now invite your awareness to notice the little things.
The warmth of your breath.
The softness of your skin.
The silence that holds you.
Maybe even a memory that brings a gentle smile to your lips.
A warm summer day watching the sunset.
A dip in your favorite lake.
An evening with friends and family by the fire.
The morning songs of birds gently waking you up.
These are the moments where life touches us.
Where peace lives.
And where presence is enough.
Whisper the following affirmations.
Silently or out loud.
It is safe for me to relax.
I trust the flow of life.
I surrender the need to do it all.
Be it all.
And figure it all out.
I am held in the ebb and flow.
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to receive.
Let these words wrap around you like a soft blanket.
Breathing them in.
Let them anchor into your nervous system.
And breathing out.
Stay a few moments in this energy.
Of peace and relaxation.
For as long as you like.
You can pause this video now.
Or if you want to come out.
And when you are ready.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale,
Sigh it out.
Bring one hand to your heart.
And one hand to your belly.
Feel your presence.
Feel your aliveness.
Feel your loving touch.
And may you carry this softness.
With you into whatever comes next.
From my heart to yours.
Namaste.
