Transcript

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either cross-legged on a cushion or sitting in a chair with feet flat on the floor,

Allowing room for the belly to expand and contract with each breath.

Take a moment to set an intention for today's practice.

This could be for self-healing,

Service,

Or simply to be love to others.

Choose what resonates for you.

In today's practice,

We will introduce the option of bee's breath,

Making the sound of a bee.

Similar to chanting,

We will be focused on producing internal vibrations.

To create bee's breath,

Inhale as usual through the nostrils.

On the exhale,

Purse the lips slightly and make an M sound,

Breathing out through the nostrils.

Feel the vibration in the lips,

Cheeks,

Face,

And forehead.

Experiment with moving the vibration slightly in the palate and throat.

Notice where a natural resonance occurs for maximum vibration.

Continue with this practice as desired with the counting as before,

Inhaling for three or four and exhaling for longer,

Or at any pace that you choose.

Continue with this for the first few minutes of practice.

On the count of four,

We will begin together with the inhale of four and hum six.

After the count of four,

Begin.

And continue at any pace that you choose.

Simply notice the sensations of the inhale and exhale.

Gently bring your awareness outwards and back to the sound of my voice.

I'd like to remind myself that perceptions are often selective.

Remember that pure awareness is always within you.
