Welcome to this sleeping meditation.
My intention is to help you fall asleep,
Stay asleep and have a restful night.
Take a moment to get comfortable in your bed.
Make sure your lights are off,
Your phone is muted so that nothing will disturb the transitioning into your state of sleep.
Start by taking a few deep breaths.
Breathe in and out,
Deeply,
Consciously and mindfully.
With each breath you relax your body a little bit more.
You are starting to ease into the energy of resting.
The energy of letting go of the day,
Of anything that has been maybe a disturbance or a conflict or any other version of the day that you can let go right now.
Relax your feet.
Relax your legs.
Relax your belly.
Relax your chest,
Shoulders.
Relax your hands.
Relax your neck.
Relax the muscles on your face.
Relax your eyes and your jaw.
Relax your scalp and your head.
While you are aware of your body in this comfortable laying position in your bed,
You imagine energy flowing through your body,
From your feet up to your legs,
Up to your belly,
Up to your chest,
To your head,
To the top of your head and beyond your head.
A streaming flow of energy creating warmth and space and deep relaxation so that you can slowly drift into sleep.
And in this moment of relaxation and awareness,
Take a moment to set an intention for the night.
Visualize yourself sleeping through the night.
And set forth your intention to help you ease into a restful state of being.
And in this moment,
Whether you are still awake or whether you are already drifting away,
I am sending you the energy of love,
Of kindness and of acceptance.
Inviting your subconscious mind to support you on this sleeping journey tonight.
And as you are listening to my voice,
You drift into a deeper state of being.
A deeper state of relaxation.
A deeper state of mindfulness and love as you are drifting into sleep.
