This meditation will help you to deal with feelings of loneliness.
Feeling alone.
Perhaps also feeling a bit rejected.
Because loneliness often means that I'm finding it difficult to be with me.
Maybe I've got used to the companionship of other people around me.
Maybe I've become reliant on getting acknowledgement,
Support from other human beings.
Maybe I've got used to noise and the environment providing entertainment to me.
And this is why it's difficult for me to be with just me.
During our day to day life,
Our mind is so busy jumping from situation to another situation,
From person to person,
And constantly thinking about the external world.
So how can I bring my mind from that external world and redirect it to my internal world?
The world where my thoughts and feelings,
Emotions and attitudes begin.
How do I check in with myself?
Check and see if everything is going alright.
How do I deal with all my memories?
The storage box that lies within.
Let me take a few moments to be with myself and to check in,
To learn to be my own friend,
My own companion on this journey of life.
So just take a few moments to pull your mind back from the external world.
Bring all your focus and energy to your inside,
To that inner space deep within.
The place where you start creating thoughts and feelings.
The place where the being resides.
And as you turn within,
Be aware that on the surface there are all the current thoughts and feelings of situations,
Of the present.
But as you go deeper within,
As you dive into yourself,
Below all the waves of current thinking,
There is quiet,
There is a calm and a sense of peace.
And the deeper you go within,
The more silence there is,
The more quiet.
But this is not a lonely quiet.
It's a place of goodness.
Because originally,
Intrinsically,
I am a being of goodness.
And that goodness is the real me.
Feel your own inner goodness.
Not the goodness connected to any memory of what you've done,
What you've said or what you've achieved.
But the goodness from which you were made,
The goodness of the spirit,
The inner self.
And as I connect with this inner goodness,
There is a feeling of appreciation,
A feeling of love towards myself.
Because I know that deep in my heart,
My intentions only arise from goodness.
And sometimes these intentions get corrupted by old patterns of thinking,
Old behaviors,
Old attitudes.
But behind them,
There is only goodness.
So let me just reconnect and re-experience my inner goodness,
My inner light.
And I allow this goodness to shine towards the surface of my mind,
Transforming all these old habits,
Old thoughts and feelings.
I allow myself to heal.
And in this quiet space of my own company,
I enjoy being my own best friend.
There's no need for pain.
There's no need to run away from myself and look for entertainment and support from the outside world.
I know I can be at peace with myself.
And as I make this journey inwards,
Again and again,
I learn to recreate who I really am and gently let go of the false support that I had created in my life.
In my inner space of goodness,
I feel love towards myself,
Towards this real me.
I give myself comfort.
I give myself courage to change.
Let me enjoy the next few moments and recharge the real me.
