So let's take a breath.
Let's take a breath and let's break down the Om Shanti mantra.
And in this meditation,
I want us to look at what Om Shanti really means.
Aum is the tonality and the sound of God.
It is the sound of creation.
And the OM is an activation of creation.
We do it in yoga all the time,
In meditation.
The OM is a powerful tonality that activates all the qualities of God.
It activates love that's within us,
Joy.
Peace.
Oneness.
It activates creativity.
It activates compassion and kindness,
Expansion.
See the power of the Aum can bring us back to center.
And I want you to simply do an OM right where you are.
We can take a breath in.
And a deep exhale.
And we can simply inhale for the own.
Doesn't matter what tone you picked or where you dropped in.
It was your intentionality to connect with the divine in that mantra.
And Shanti means peace.
Shanti is the word of peace in Sanskrit.
So we go Om Shanti.
In my experience of the Aum Shanti,
It's making peace with God,
The universe,
With Mother Nature,
With the elements,
With everything.
And that peace of the Aum is the Aum that lives within us,
That activates our existence.
And in some practices of the Aum Shanti,
It is really thought of that when we see peace in our minds,
And the one mind we shall see peace on the earth.
So when we're making the Om Shanti,
It is having peace with God that lives within us.
Deep Exhale.
One more time in here.
And exhale.
And in some practices,
In some traditions,
The Aum Shanti sounds like this.
Aum Shanti Aum Shanti Aum Shanti Aum And there is no right or wrong way.
You cannot do it wrong.
However,
You choose to practice the Om Shanti.
It is your choice.
I like for spirit to guide me in my own practice.
Sometimes at the end of the yoga classes I teach,
We do a simple om.
And sometimes we do the three with the last ohm.
Again,
There is no right or wrong.
Is listening to your.
Hire self.
The power of the Aum Shanti.
So let's do this together.
Let's take a deep breath in.
Exhale.
Let's do the three OM shanties with the OM at the very end.
Inhale.
And together Aum Shanti.
Aum Shanti Om Shanti.
Aum.
Mmmmm.
Debex hail.
And remember,
It doesn't matter.
How you choose to practice.
It matters that you practice.
You can do Om Shanti when you're walking on the beach or in nature.
You can do Om Shanti sitting down or maybe in the bathtub or maybe with a candle that's lit in front of you,
Maybe with a little bit of sage burning around you,
However you choose to practice.
The intentionality and the intention is to make peace with God within you.
And all the divine qualities of God.
Take a deep breath in.
Deep exhale.
Peace and blessings.
