Hey there,

I'm Rev Skip and welcome to your moment of Zen.

Zen is a state where we choose to be peaceful and calm.

A time where we can relax and contemplate our energy.

So sit back,

Relax,

And let go.

Close your eyes and just begin to follow your breath.

So our Buddha quote for today,

The root of suffering is attachment.

And when we look at the word attachment,

It simply means taking ownership of something.

When we are attached,

There could be two possible outcomes.

Something we want and something we don't want.

And when things go our way,

It activates the energy of happiness.

But when things go in a direction that we don't want,

It could generate sadness.

Our work is to live a life of unattachment.

The way that we can contemplate this belief is with a simple phrase,

Everything is working for my highest good.

And when we truly believe that,

It doesn't matter what the experience is,

We understand it is for our spiritual growth.

So I invite you to take this principle into the quiet stillness.

Everything is working for my highest good.

So let's enter into the Zen zone.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Again,

Take a deep breath in and a big exhale.

I invite you to take some time in the stillness with these simple words.

Everything is working for my highest good.

Don't worry about the time.

I'll let you know when it's time to return.

So take a deep breath in and a big exhale.

Exhale.

Welcome back.

We finished with a simple affirmation today.

Everything is working for my highest good.

Ahhhhh!!!Everything is working for my highest good! I needed this today . Feeling so overwhelmed taking care of a puppy that’s eating my underwear,and everything else she can grab ..
