Hello,
And welcome to this meditation.
My name is Skip Jennings,
And I am a licensed spiritual counselor,
A minister,
A transformational coach,
And I'm also an openly LGBT person of color.
So to say the least,
I am a diverse expression of spirit.
So our meditation today is to celebrate the LGBTQA community.
The QA stands for questioning or queer,
But the A stands for allies.
This is a meditation focusing on inclusivity.
And I believe inclusivity is far more expansive than diversity.
Inclusivity is welcoming everyone to the table.
You just have to be hungry,
Hungry for embracing someone that has the appearance of being different.
If you cut my heart open and your heart open,
It bleeds the same color red.
What makes us come together as one,
The yoking is something we cannot see.
It's spirit.
It's the life force that has created all of us.
The divine plan for us to show up in the unique expression of spirit is our beauty.
It's holy.
It's spiritual.
When I can see you and connect with you as one,
No matter what you look like,
Who you love,
What you do,
When I can get there,
Then I'm embracing the spirit of inclusivity.
The past events that we have experienced together globally has been a catalyst for us to come up together,
To walk together,
To protest together,
To pray together,
To love together,
To be together.
So I want to dedicate this meditation to those who are willing to stand up,
Stand up for the rights to love who we choose.
Love is love.
Love is love.
Love is love.
And that is the mantra that we will celebrate the rainbow color.
So I invite you to get comfortable,
Get in a place where your body's not hindering your meditation.
So you can sit on a bench or a chair or you can be outside in nature.
You can be laying down.
Just get comfortable and follow your breath.
Let's take some breaths together as one.
Begin to inhale through our nostrils.
Inhale,
Take a deep breath in.
Now hold your breath at the very top.
Feel the energy,
The vibration,
The prana.
Feel it.
And then full release,
Let go,
Big exhale.
Let's do that again.
Inhale with a deep,
Deep breath in.
Take a deep breath in,
As much breath as you can get in.
Big inhale.
As you inhale,
Embrace inclusivity,
Embrace love,
Embrace.
Now feel the energy.
Feel it in your system.
And a deep exhale,
Let it go.
You're releasing intention into the world.
Love is love is love.
Can we take one more breath?
Let's do it together.
Inhale,
Take a deep breath in through our nostrils.
Big,
Big inhale,
Inhale,
Inhale all the way up.
As much air as you can get.
Breathe in that energy.
Hold the breath and a full release,
Let it go.
Feel how the body just begins to relax and sink into the space that you're in.
Love is love is love.
So I want you to vision or visualize the rainbow colors,
The colors of the rainbow flag.
Have you ever noticed the colors are red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
And purple?
This is the same color scheme of the chakra system.
We begin at the roots for grounding ourselves.
That is the color red.
The sacral chakra is orange.
Our solar plexus is yellow.
The heart chakra is green.
The throat chakra is blue.
Third eyes,
Indigo,
But it moves into violet or purple.
That moves into a bright white light.
So the rainbow flag is also a representation of the sacred holiness of our energy zones.
Breathe that in.
And as we look at the beautiful spectrum,
Which represents the diversity of life,
The diversity of us,
See each color as a representation of you.
You are diverse.
You're multifaceted.
And so is the rest of the world.
So with the red color,
The color red,
We anchor,
We ground ourselves in love.
We ground ourselves in this world.
We are one on this round planet.
We stay grounded in love.
The color orange allows us to feel our emotions,
Our multifaceted ways of life.
The color yellow.
The color green.
The color yellow.
It's our vitality.
It's our healing energy.
It heats the body,
It energizes the body so that we may participate in love.
The green.
The green lands in the heart.
The heart knows no color,
No gender,
No sexual orientation.
The heart knows love.
Love is love.
We look at the color blue.
It's our communication.
How are we communicating with each other?
Our communication is key for words and thoughts have power.
We are a collective.
So what we communicate to others,
We communicate to ourselves.
Love is love is love.
The purple,
The violet,
The beautiful color of this section of the rainbow flag.
It's always a reminder.
The violet energy of transformation.
The purple that represents the divine being that we are.
Because we are love.
We are beings of divine love.
And in this human incarnation,
We have come here to celebrate,
To celebrate,
To celebrate.
Love is love is love.
And as we begin to awaken out of this guided meditation,
I invite you to slowly begin to open up your eyes and just breathe.
Just breathe.
We are moving into a new time and age of existence.
We are being called forth to live in a new way of inclusivity.
Of embracing each other,
Not just or in spite of our differences,
But because we know that we are one.
My dear friends,
Send this prayer and this love out into the universe.
It is time that we embrace.
Love is love is love.
Peace and richest blessings.
Namaste.
