This meditation is to inspire you to connect to your vibrance and beauty.
I'd like to invite you to place your hand on your heart or sit comfortably with the palms open in a position ready to receive.
So let's start with bringing your awareness to the breath.
Taking a deep breath in and out.
Following the breath gently move through your body.
Breathing in and out.
Now bring to your awareness the image of a flower,
A beautiful flower.
Open up your senses.
What are the qualities of this flower?
Its scent,
The colors,
The textures of the petals.
Is it a strong flower?
Are the buds open or are they closed?
Use your senses and your imagination as you breathe in and out.
Now see the flower petals open and close in rhythm with your breath.
See them open and close.
Feel this gentle movement calming your being as you breathe in and out.
Sense the energy naturally moving down into your body and into the earth beneath you,
Grounding you.
Flowers live through different weather conditions,
Not dissimilar to how we move through different situations throughout our day.
Sometimes with ease and sometimes feeling challenged.
As you breathe in,
Open yourself up like this flower to being nourished by the light of the Sun.
Feel yourself open up and move towards this light,
Ready to take this life force in.
Welcome this light gently and consciously.
As you breathe in and out,
You may wish to release whatever is weighing on you through the roots into the earth,
Creating space for you to be.
Perceive this flower in whichever way possible for you.
Feel the strength of this flower and its gentleness,
Its vulnerability and its vibrance like facets of ourself that we possess.
Observe these petals like parts of yourself that you might love and parts that you wish to hide.
As you breathe in,
Feel the light of the Sun nourish the center of your being and expand this warmth and light outwards towards the part that's have been unseen,
Unloved or ignored.
Whatever that is for you mentally,
Physically or emotionally.
Imagine this light illuminating all of the petals and see the flower open fully,
Opening up with your breath and releasing with the breath.
Breathing in this cosmic light and receiving this cosmic light.
Let it nourish you.
You may receive this as warmth or as a color.
See it move through you into the earth nourishing the roots,
Nourishing your foundations,
Feeling lighter yet more grounded.
Now place your hand on your heart once more and you may wish to state,
I am worthy of my self-love.
I choose to care for my well-being.
I am open to receive wonderful things.
I am in purpose.
Breathing in and out.
Bringing your awareness back to your body,
Back to the here and the now.
As you breathe in and out and it is done.
