Begin to take a few moments to get as comfortable as you can,

Using pillows to support the back,

A blanket if you need one,

Then closing the eyes and bringing your full awareness into the body.

Scanning up from the feet and noticing what parts of the body are touching the bed or the chair.

Quietly in the mind saying the words,

I am here.

I am here.

We'll begin with three rounds of conscious breath and you can repeat this any time throughout the day.

Inhaling through the nose and out through the mouth.

Begin to take that deep inhale and squeeze all of the muscles in the toes and feet.

On the exhale,

Feel a long slow breath out the mouth and feel the feet relax.

On the next inhale,

Squeezing the muscles in the fingers and hands.

As you exhale,

Relax all of those muscles.

And on your third deepest inhale,

Imagine filling the entire body with fresh oxygen.

And on the exhale,

Relax in each and every muscle.

And as you let your body now breathe naturally,

On each inhale quietly saying in the minds the words,

I am safe.

I am safe.

And if you could invite a calming energy into this space such as imagining a colourful light,

What colour would you see?

Can you imagine breathing that light in as you say the words,

I am safe.

Maybe sensing the body getting brighter and brighter with each inhale.

Acknowledging that thoughts will come and go.

And when you notice being pulled into worries or distractions,

Know that they are simply thoughts.

All you need to do is label it thinking and keep coming back to feeling each and every breath.

Quietly saying those words I am safe.

Now we'll use creative visualisation to vividly sense your dream support team surrounding you now.

To the right of you,

Begin to sense your family.

Noticing each and every one of their faces smiling and sending you their love.

Because no matter where they are,

Their energy is here with you now.

To your left,

You also begin to see your close friends and anyone who has shown you support along the way.

They can be from the past or present.

Anyone who has shown you kindness.

Can you begin to let that in?

You notice this powerful supportive energy almost beaming from their hearts and filling the room that you are in.

It helps you feel protected.

It helps you feel calm.

Spend the next few moments really allowing the power of your imagination to breathe in that loving supportive energy.

And if they could see you worried or afraid,

What would they do or say to comfort you?

To show you they care.

Offering you reassurance and love.

Really let that in.

Whenever you're pulled away by those worries,

Pain or emotion,

Try placing one hand on your heart.

Go back to the long slow breaths.

Inhaling that bright healing colourful light.

Repeating I am safe.

For these last few moments as you begin to follow each breath,

Begin to visualise the image or energy of your beautiful healthy baby.

Knowing that when you look into each other's eyes,

Any fears or worries will be instantly dissolved.

Stay with that image and notice all of the joy,

Peace or love that you feel.
