
Journey Through The Tattwas
A classic Yoga Nidra experiencing the Tattwas or 5 elements. Lay down comfortably, make sure you will be warm for the next 40 minutes of deep guided relaxation. Find your stillness, your breath and anchor your awareness to the sound of my voice.

Getting ready for your ganitra.
Journey through the tatwas.
Find your nice comfortable position on the floor.
Using any props you need,
Under and on top of you.
Make sure you're going to be warm and completely comfortable,
Letting the entire body relax on the floor.
Once you'll find your final steady position,
Relax through the ground,
Close your eyes.
Consciously scan your body from head to toes,
Allowing every muscle,
Fascia,
Bones,
All of the whole body to relax through the ground,
Leading the nurturing Mother Earth taking care of it.
From the toes to the hips,
Engage a very nice strong squeeze from the toes,
Feet and legs.
Squeeze everything.
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
Squeeze for a few seconds,
And then let go.
Let all of the legs to the toes,
Release and relax to the ground.
Let all of the legs to the toes release and relax to the ground.
We do the same for the arms and the hands.
Squeeze everything up to the shoulder.
Squeeze as much as you can,
And relax.
Let it sink to the ground.
Same for the trunk,
Front and back.
Squeeze all the muscle of the abdomen,
The chest,
The back,
Shoulder blades,
And release.
Squeeze the neck and the head,
Every muscle,
Eyebrows,
Eyes,
Jaw,
Cheek,
Teeth,
Squeezing everything,
And releasing.
Feel the sensation of sinking to the ground,
Completely held and hooked with the ground.
Now bringing up our nest to the sense of sound.
Listening to the sound of sight of this room as far as possible.
Beyond the room,
Beyond the land here.
See if you can hear up to the ocean wave,
Or anywhere else around this land that we've been walking onto for the last two days.
Hearing a sound,
Have no edge in it,
And then going to the next one.
No attachment,
No judgment.
Using your awareness as a radar.
Challenge your awareness and sense of sound to hear the most subtle and far sound possible.
Stay connected to the sound awareness.
Time to get your awareness coming back slowly closer to the room.
Still outside though.
Listening to sound,
Gross and subtle.
The sound of nature.
The sound is closer to the room now,
Outside and inside,
All around the walls and windows.
Sound closer to you.
A little sound you might have not heard before.
Or sound that you know pretty well.
Starting to hear the sound closer,
The neighbours,
Very next to you.
Hearing some silence as well,
Which is another type of sound.
Bringing your awareness up to the sound of your bone breath.
Now bring in mind your sankalpa,
Affirmation for yourself for the next close or far future.
Keep it to the point,
Use the present tense,
And use I instead of you.
Use I do,
I am instead of I will.
You are now in the presence of the sound.
Repeat within your own mental activity for three times the sankalpa or affirmation for yourself,
Something you want to evoke,
Something you want to work on,
A goal that you want to reach.
Present tense,
Use I and feel it as it's already happening.
If you don't have sankalpa yet,
That is fine,
It will come to you on its own time.
Now being aware of the body through the body rotation,
Feeling the shape and weight of each body part as announced,
And following,
Incurring to my voice through all the parts of the body.

At the peak of the inhale,
Coming to the head.
On every exhale,
Feel this silver light going down from the head to the trunk,
The extremities,
Out through the feet and hands.
On every inhale,
Feel the silver light coming through the extremities,
Up,
Following the spine and trunk to the top of the head.
On every exhale,
Feel this silver light,
Feeling your whole body from the head down to the neck and trunk,
Keeping going through the arms and legs,
Going out.
Keep being aware of this silver light on every inhale and exhale through the whole body,
Moving up to the head,
Out through the extremities.
Feel the cleansing aspect of this light bringing you a new,
Renewable energy and a new level of energy into the whole body and clarity into the mind,
Letting go of any blurry or doubtful energy from the mind down to the body,
Out,
Bringing a whole new bright energy and clarity to the mind on every inhale,
Letting go of all the old patterns,
Negative thought and doubt on every exhale.
Being so connected to this light coming in and out,
Passing through the body,
Start to visualize or imagine as the light and your body together are created this upside-down silver tree,
Your extremities being the leaves and the branches,
Your trunk being the trunk of the tree,
And your head being the bulb and the root of this tree,
Inhaling through the leaves and branches,
Through the trunk up to the roots,
Exhaling from the roots,
Silver light through the trunk and the branches.

Make the ohm last a long time of the inhale and the time of the exhale.
Feel the vibration of the mantra.
Breathing in to the psychic Now let go of the mantra and the silvertree.
Keep your awareness sharp,
As you're going to embody a few feelings and sensations.

As you have experienced them in the past.
Then visualize,
Imagine any pictures and images that are going to be announced next.
Feel and embody the feeling of discomfort.

You find yourself now sitting and meditating in the middle of a pristine water pond.
It's midday in a warm summery day.
Your eyes,
While still closed,
Let you feel and be more connected to the sound of nature around you.
To the warmth coming out from the sun and to the calm of the water all around you.
You can hear the birds flying and singing.
The bees buzzing.
Even some butterflies flying around.
Sitted in the middle of this pond.
And gently opening your eyes to get a gaze at the surrounding.
You can see all the hills,
Green hills around you,
Around this pond.
And the sparkling water light and warm by the sunlight.
Touching the water with your fingertips.
And see the sun reflecting on it.
On this clear pristine water,
Shining with the sunlight.
Making your way out of the pond,
Either swimming or walking.
Feeling the water around your body.
Getting out,
You stand for a moment feeling the soil beneath you.
Consciously connected to the soil.
Feeling the warmth and the most nurturing earth beneath.
Supporting you,
Nurturing you.
And you decide to keep walking gently on every step of the way with pure consciousness and awareness.
Walking step after step on warm sand and then warm and soft grass and soil.
Enjoying every step,
Feeling the connection with the soul of your feet to the ground.
Whilst you keep working in the fields,
Made up of bush,
Flowers,
Green grass,
A few trees.
The end of the afternoon starts to arrive and the sun is starting to get down.
And you can appreciate a beautiful sunset.
At the end of the sunset and in front of you,
Appears a warm light.
Wondering what it is,
You keep walking consciously in direction of this bright,
Warm orange light.
At a distance.
As you walk through the field and the sun is now out of the picture,
A beautiful,
Wide bonfire appears.
During this beautiful summery night,
You keep walking closer and closer to this fire.
Feeling the warmth and the orange light,
Irritating all around your body.
Being now in front of the bonfire,
Feeling its full energy and warmth,
You're looking at the mesmerizing,
Burning flames.
You decide to sit for a moment in front of this bonfire and look at it and embrace the energy and warmth from the flame.
You let yourself be fully imbibed by the warm energy going through all your body.
You close your mind in a meditative sitting position and embrace the feeling of the bonfire.
A little while after,
You start to feel a gentle summery breeze on your face,
Around your neck,
All around your body.
Opening your eyes again in front of the bonfire,
Gazing upwards,
You will see the full moon in front of you and the Milky Way all around in the dark sky of the night.
The full moon and the Milky Way give to you so much light that you're able to see after the bonfire that the path continues.
You decide to keep walking,
Following the path,
And see at a distance a beautiful forest of pine tree,
Sea trees.
You see the trees moving and dancing with the wind going from side to side in every direction.
You enjoy the harmonious dance together with the wind and decide to walk towards the forest to imbibe yourself within this feeling.
In the middle of the forest,
You're standing connected to the earth,
Surrounded by the tree,
Feeling the wind caressing your skin,
Making your hair move,
Feeling the wind on every part of your face,
Neck,
Arms,
Trunk,
Leg,
Everywhere.
Closing your eyes,
Moving with the wind and the trees,
Feeling the nice caress of the wind into your whole body.
The wind's starting to be a bit more calmer.
You open your eyes again and see that the paths keep going after the forest.
So you keep walking through the end of the forest,
Getting out of the forest and seeing the end of the path,
Showing you such a beautiful scenery in front of you.
Into the dark night,
Full of the Milky Way and the full moon,
You're at the edge of the path that shows you a beautiful canyon.
Standing at the top of this canyon,
You can see a powerful crystal waterfall falling down the canyon,
Feeling the air coming up,
The sweet water splashing,
A soft breeze,
Observing and feeling the rocky part of the land,
Grass at the bottom,
Some sand around the water.
You feel and completely imbibe yourself in the powerful energy of this strong waterfall,
Colorful scenery,
Warm and refreshing in the same time,
Strong and soft in the same time.
You stay there,
Standing and observing this stunning scenery for a moment,
Until you raise your gaze up to the sky and to the mesmerizing full moon and Milky Way.
You decide to lay down on the ground,
Feeling the beautiful strength and power from the ground and the canyon and being immersed into the wide blue sky,
Light by the moon and the stars.
You close your eyes here,
In full contemplation,
Inner and outer yourself.
Placing your awareness now into your infinite mind space,
The dark space of your mind,
Being the silent witness of whatever happened there.
It could be nothing,
It could be colors,
Words,
Patterns,
Anything is possible.
Just be there,
Watching silently,
Let your mind activity show itself and let it be just picked at her for the witness of this activity.
You now bring into your awareness your sankalpa,
All your resolve for your life.
See it appearing in silver letters in the Shilakash space,
A resolve for your life,
The present tense.
See it writing into the Shilakash in silver letters,
Coming and going three times,
Embodying this sankalpa as if your resolve or goal is already happening now.
Let go of this.
Let go of the sankalpa,
Let go of the Shilakash space.
Come back to your natural breath in both of your nostrils.
I am breathing in,
I am breathing out.
Bring into your whole breath and deepen on every inhale and exhale.
By deepening your breath,
Bring your awareness back to your whole physical body.
Feel the connection,
Your awareness and your whole physical body laying down on the ground.
You are present in your whole physical body now.
You already start to bring some movement to the feet,
The hands and the head,
Gently rocking from side to side.
On a big inhalation,
Start to have a beautiful stretch from the toes to the fingers.
Then folding your knees and going to one side,
Either the right or the left,
Your focal point of breath.
Make sure you are fully awake and present,
Fully relaxed.
