Hello and welcome to today's mindfulness meditation with a focus on spring cleaning for your mind during the transitional time of spring.
You can take this time as a transition to also begin again.
It's the point of the year focus on renewal,
Activity,
And light.
You can embody these qualities by looking within and establishing a mindset of continued growth and rejuvenation.
With this meditation you can take the time to focus on your inner soul and what you want to achieve when allowed to renew and refresh.
This spring I invite you to fully embrace the person you're becoming and honor the person and experiences that got you here.
With that in mind let's begin.
Find a comfortable seated or lying down position.
Feel free to dim the lights if you're able to.
Ensure you are comfortable and with your eyes open or closed Let's begin to take the journey inward.
Breathing in and breathing out as you take slow deep breaths in through your nose and slowly out through your mouth.
Feel your mind becoming calm and your body more relaxed.
Allow the breath to be your anchor and your connector.
Moving from your head down into your heart noticing the more you breathe the better you feel.
The better you feel the more you breathe as you connect with your mind with your body and your spirit.
Inhale,
Exhale,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Now begin to bring to mind any thoughts,
Ideas,
Or beliefs that may have become stagnant,
Non-serving,
Or irrelevant during this season of your life.
As an observer notice those thoughts as they float by.
Evaluate them one at a time.
See if you can connect what their original purpose was.
Are those thoughts born out of fear or frustration?
How did those beliefs and ideas serve you in the past?
Are they still relevant for you in this season today?
Do these thoughts,
Ideas,
Or beliefs still have a reason for existing in your mind?
Is there something further to explore before you let them go?
As you breathe notice those thoughts,
Ideas,
And beliefs.
You come to the realization that it's time to let them go.
Thank them for having served their purpose.
Take in any learning or wisdom that you may have gathered from those particular thoughts,
Ideas,
Or beliefs before you freely let them go.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Begin to visualize erasing them from a chocked idea or belief that no longer serves you.
Visualize yourself simply erasing it to reveal a fresh clean slate.
Once you've cleared away that which no longer serves you,
You now have space.
The space that you cultivated doesn't mean the mind is now empty,
But rather see it as decluttered space for new thoughts,
New ideas,
And beliefs that support creativity,
Renewed hope,
And faith.
Begin to invite in a new thought or belief or idea in the form of an intention.
An intention that supports your dreams,
Your purpose in life,
Your calling,
And bring it to the forefront of your mind.
Imagine planting it like a seed in fertile soil and ask God to breathe life into it.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Now let go of the intention,
Trusting that God will detail.
And when you're ready,
Take a slow deep inhaling breath through your nose and slowly out through your mouth as you gently open up your eyes to new and fresh ideas and hope in your heart.
