Hello,

And welcome to Daily Bomb.

If you desire hope for a new beginning,

Then join me for this prayer and guided meditation.

Let's start by taking a moment to find a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Once you're settled in your seat,

Feel free to leave your eyes open or close them.

And as you relax and breathe,

Begin to open the eyes of your heart as we take the journey in.

Without changing your breath,

Simply notice how you're breathing.

Notice how that inhaling and exhaling breath feels in your body at this moment.

What are you feeling?

What sensations?

What thoughts are present with you in this moment?

Without judgment,

Simply observe and notice.

Now let's become a little bit more conscious with our breathing.

From your low belly,

Take a deep breath in through your nose and a slow,

Relaxing breath out through your mouth.

Just like that,

Breathe in deeply and exhale slowly.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Without rushing,

Allow your body and your breath to become more in sync as you surrender to slow,

Rhythmic breathing.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

As you breathe,

Notice your body beginning to soften as you breathe more slowly and more deeply.

Maybe your arms and your shoulders feel heavy and warm as you soften and relax.

Notice your legs and your hips,

The front sides and back of your body begin to relax a little bit more as you breathe more deeply and more fully.

Allow any tension,

Stress or tightness that you may feel to slowly unravel throughout your body.

And with each exhaling breath,

Begin to release heaviness from your heart.

Release disappointment from your mind and let distrust and fear flow out of your spirit.

You are totally free to cast your worries on the Lord because He cares about you.

Because of His love,

You are offered a new beginning with each inhaling breath and an opportunity to let go of the past with each exhaling breath.

Breathe into your new beginning.

As God's breath flows through your nostrils,

Breathe and begin again with hope.

Breathe and begin again with hope.

Breathe and begin again with hope.

Because His grace through your faith,

You are made new.

And because of God's faithfulness,

New mercies greet you every morning.

Breathe and begin again.

Breathe and begin again.

Now begin to breathe.

And from faith,

Believe.

Begin to see and touch and taste your new beginnings in your mind's eye.

Cast your fear aside and embrace your new beginning right here,

Right now,

By faith.

Take a moment to imagine Heaven's rain raining down and bathing you in joy.

Heaven's rain bathing you in joy.

Heaven's rain cleansing you in peace.

Heaven's rain cleansing you in peace and preparing you for purpose.

Breathe and begin again.

Breathe and begin again.

Breathe and begin again.

Boldly rest in the rain.

Laugh out loud in the rain.

It's okay to cry in the rain.

Freely let go in the rain.

Now imagine the morning light shining brightly across your face.

Feel and sense that bright,

Radiant light,

The light of God's Spirit shining over you.

And with your mind,

Your body,

And your spirit,

Receive your new beginning through the light of Christ.

As you rest in your new beginnings,

I pray that God's peace,

Mercy,

And grace be with you.

I pray that God's peace,

Mercy,

And grace be with you.
