Good morning.
I wanted to share a ritual with you to.
.
.
Give you a way of connecting into the elemental energies.
That form the natural world.
They also form us as well.
And using that connection with these energies to.
.
.
Provide you with a source of presence.
And a source of guidance and using that to support you as you move out into your day.
And what I offer here in this ritual is a suggestion only.
And I really encourage you to make the ritual your own and bring in any other elements that are meaningful to you.
So to begin with,
Make sure you've got bare feet and if you can head outside and putting your feet on the earth whether it's grass whether it's stones and if you can't head outside and put your feet on the ground even just out onto your balcony or by a window,
An open window.
And just taking a moment to just really feel your feet on the surface beneath you.
And you might even like to imagine that there are roots moving from your feet down through the floor or the earth and establishing that really steady ground beneath you.
Once you've established that connection,
Then just take a moment to really feel into the morning air.
And just noticing the touch of the air on your skin.
Taking in the sense in the air.
I like to imagine that the the air is caressing me.
It's like nature is touching me with that movement of air.
Once you've established that connection with the air element,
Then taking a moment to just rest your hands on your heart.
And connect into the qualities of appreciation,
Of gratitude.
You may like to imagine that you're just breathing in and out of your heart as you do that.
And as you connect with that feeling of gratitude or appreciation,
Sometimes it can be helpful to just to bring someone or something to mind.
To help you amplify that feeling of gratitude.
And just really breathing that in.
And once you've connected to those high vibrational qualities of gratitude and appreciation,
Then taking your bowl of water,
And just connecting with the water you might even like to breathe that gratitude that appreciation into the water and then pouring that water onto a tree,
A plant,
Maybe you've got a favorite flower in the garden.
Or maybe you've got a herb garden or a veggie garden.
You can pour the water wherever you would like.
And as you pour the water just whispering to that plant or that tree.
May you be nourished as I am nourished.
May you grow as I grow.
And just tipping that water.
I've just got a tree here.
I'm just going to tip the water.
Just whispering that prayer as you tip the water And then once you've poured the water,
Then just taking a moment just to sit.
Just feeling into the morning.
Feeling into the beautiful elemental energies.
And just taking a minute or two.
Just to listen.
Just listening to what the morning has to share with you.
And as you do this,
You're.
.
.
Not trying to think up anything.
Or make anything happen.
You're springing yourself into complete presence and it's like you're just opening yourself up to the moment.
And you're resting in this place of receiving.
And the receiving may come as a knowing or a feeling or a symbol.
Or a sound.
There's no expectation.
You're just sitting here listening and receiving.
And then finally,
Just to seal this sacred space.
Just whispering a thank you.
Perhaps smiling to yourself.
Taking one more conscious breath.
And then moving into your day.
From this plane.
