Welcome.
Thank you for making this time for you.
Bring yourself into a seat and get yourself settled and comfortable.
Imagine your spine lifting and a sense of the body relaxing back.
Your hands are resting softly in your lap.
Smile to yourself tenderly,
Acknowledging this time is your precious gift to you.
Taking this time to tune into your own interior world.
Sense the pelvis sinking downwards and the spine growing skywards.
The chest and upper back are spreading with the shoulders softening.
Back of the head is lifting towards the sky and muscles in the face are easing.
Your heart,
It relaxes and the belly softens.
And feeling the bones of the body,
Heavy,
Stable,
Supportive.
Notice your breath moving in and out of your body.
Watching it arise and dissolve.
Gather and release.
Allow your body to be lightly moved by the breath.
Let the body surrender to this familiar rhythm.
Letting it be easy and soft,
Light.
The breath offering you a path inwards to a boundless self.
A self that you've always known as being there.
Let the breath be your guide,
Your guru.
As you sit here quiet,
Steady and dignified.
Your breath helping you remember that you have the capacity to manage all of the intricacies of your day.
That you have a deep wellspring of insight and wisdom that you can draw upon to skillfully handle the uncertainties of life.
You sit here just like a mountain,
Peaceful and grounded.
The changing weather moving around you.
You sit here steady like a mountain,
Open to all of the seasons of life.
Notice when the mind wanders in this endless pursuit of needing to know.
Just gently shepherd your attention back inwards to the breath and this still presence within.
This inner presence reassuring you that it's okay to soften.
It is okay to relax.
All is well.
All is well.
You are safe.
You are steady.
You are self-assured.
You are an unchanging presence in an ever-changing world.
You have a refuge within you that you can return to every time you need to find solid ground.
Take a full deep breath in and let the body yield as you breathe out.
This breath reminding you that you are safe,
You are steady,
You are self-assured.
Lift your hands and let them come to rest over your heart.
Allow your body to soften into your hands.
Your face softening again into a smile.
Reminding yourself that you are always here for you.
May you be carried by a steady heart today.
With love my friend,
Namaste.
