Breathing for new beginnings.
So gently sit or lay down,
Relax and become aware of the natural rhythm of your breath,
Just allowing it gently and easily.
And as you observe or focus on your breathing,
You may notice thoughts coming to the mind,
Just acknowledge them,
Accept that they're there and let them go.
Gently breathing in through the nose and out through the nose,
Allowing the body to relax,
With every breath in every moment.
Every breath is a new beginning,
A chance to start again.
And now we are going to try one of the new breathing techniques.
So placing your hands on your belly,
Slowly breathe in,
Expanding your belly to the count of five,
Pausing briefly and slowly breathing out to the count of six.
So do this now silently for the next few minutes.

Now allow your hands to fall down gently in front of you onto your lap,
Palms facing upwards.
And imagine from your heart and your hands you are sending love out to the world,
Out to all your friends and family,
To the whole planet.
Imagine you are sending out love to your future self.
Even if you are unsure of what that future self will be or look like,
Just send it out with the intention that your future self will receive this love unconditionally.
Imagine that you can travel with this love from your heart into the future and feel only love.
Let yourself float on this feeling gently and easily without judgment,
Just acceptance.
Let yourself go now,
Trusting that love from your heart will carry you today and every day.
