Let's begin from wherever you are today,

Taking a moment to get comfortable.

Gently closing your eyes and let's spend some time here just for you.

Relaxing your natural breath without force and just allowing the breath to flow in and out.

Checking in with yourself and how you're feeling in this moment.

Breathing in slowly,

Feel your lungs expand as they fill up with oxygen.

As you exhale,

Notice the warmth of the breath as it softly releases.

Listening to the breath,

Connect with it.

Noticing the sound of the waves crashing.

With every breath in,

Invite calmness to wash over you.

On the exhale,

Letting go of any tension or negativity.

Letting this natural ebb and flow of the breath soften,

Relaxing the muscles in your face,

Dropping your shoulders.

Notice where your body meets the earth.

Can you relax deeper,

Knowing the ground is there to support you as you let go?

As we listen to the sound of the ocean,

The natural ebb and flow of the waves mimics our inhales and exhales,

Bringing us into a deeper state of relaxation.

Just as the waves are in constant motion,

Ebbing and flowing,

So is our breath.

If you can,

Imagine yourself walking along the beach,

The waves gently washing over your feet.

Feel the warmth of the sun on your face.

Inhale the salt air.

Taking a long inhale,

Filling up and expanding through the ribcage,

Pause for a moment at the top,

Taking in another sip of air,

And then slowly exhale,

Emptying all the air from your lungs.

And we will do that again.

Inhale feeling the expansion,

Holding it at the top,

Taking another sip of air,

And release.

As you return to your natural rhythm of breath,

Place both hands over your heart.

Inhale deeply into the space beneath your hands,

And exhale.

Letting your practice sink in,

This sense of groundedness you've cultivated,

Take a moment of gratitude for yourself,

For slowing down,

For connecting to your breath,

Your body,

And this moment.

I hope you found a little bit of peace to take away with you into your day.
