Hi,
I'm Shia Astra and we're gonna do a little bit of work around letting go the pull when they.
.
.
Come into your mind.
The feelings that if they would just dot,
Dot,
Dot do these things and everything would be better.
If they could just see,
If you could just say one more thing,
If you could just explain yourself,
If they could just understand.
And how much you miss them.
How much you love them.
And whether they are friends,
Families,
Partners,
Relationships,
When we connect with someone else.
There comes a time where we have to let go.
And we have to pull ourselves together,
Even though we feel like we have splat all over the place.
And we have to figure out how the hell we're going to move forward.
So this is a session to listen to when you're not really sure what to do or how to do it.
You know what you need to do,
But it hurts.
Let yourself receive.
Let yourself be here.
And let things change.
Take a nice deep breath.
And we're going to look at the parts of you that got left behind.
The parts of you that couldn't fit anymore.
So you dropped them,
Hid them.
Put them somewhere only you could see.
Made them so teeny tiny that nobody would ever notice them or ever see,
Oh,
That's who they are?
What?
Those parts.
I know you can feel them.
They may be really far away.
They may feel hidden.
But there's a sense that they exist somewhere.
Like this long lost part of you that you misplaced.
Pick your soul that you've never met.
Take a nice deep breath.
We need to reintroduce you to these parts.
Because it's really easy to remember like,
Oh this person,
They are wonderful,
Amazing,
I love them,
I need them.
That?
Parts.
So instead.
.
.
In addition.
Because I know that's also happening as you're listening.
You're like,
I miss them.
I want to go back to them.
I want to fix things.
I want to make sense of it.
Like you can feel those parts of you that want to do the repair work.
So in addition.
We're going to help you remember who the hell you are.
So first.
.
.
There were the parts of you that.
You didn't get to express with it.
The things you held back,
The things you didn't say.
They got caught in your throat,
Caught in your chest.
What were those moments?
When you are out,
When you are with them,
And you're held back.
Say them aloud if you can.
Name them.
There you go,
Keep going.
Big breath.
Just do the little bit of support to support the front of your body and the back of your body So let yourself feel being held.
In front and back.
Being held together.
Being held whole.
Because then there were the things that you wanted to say to them,
Like the things that frustrated you,
The things that you were like,
No,
I don't like that.
I don't want that.
What are you doing?
No.
What were those things?
Keep breathing.
Gently or hard at any time.
There you go,
Let yourself speak.
In your mind aloud,
Whatever works for you.
There you go.
Just helping to support this moving down and out of your body may notice your digestive system kicks up a little bit later You may notice some gurgles.
Or going to the bathroom and feeling like,
Whew,
That needed to come out.
I needed to let that go.
In an energetic sense.
There's more parts of you.
There was the you that you didn't get to become with them.
You are always.
Being the version of yourself that worked for them,
With them.
But there was a you that didn't yet to exist in that world.
Maybe you said yes instead of no,
Or no instead of yes,
Or I'll eat dinner at this place,
Or I'll eat dinner at that place,
When what you really wanted was something else.
And so all of the potentials and the opportunities and the times you said yes to them,
But no to something else,
And you made a decision.
That wasn't quite yours.
What did you miss out on?
Never got to happen because of them.
Not in play.
An awareness and truth for yourself.
Keep breathing.
Keep letting it move.
Again tap at your heart at any time for extra support to help it move through.
Help all of it move through.
This will help save,
Store,
Remember,
Ground,
Connect.
And help you feel back into your body.
There's one more piece that we're going to work on today.
And it's what you needed.
From them.
What you hoped they would give you.
The expectations,
Yes,
But more so the raw,
Visceral need.
I need you to be this person for me.
I need you to fulfill this hole inside of myself.
I need you to see me.
I need you to love me.
I need you to want me.
What did you need from them so badly,
So painfully?
That you never got,
Not the way you wanted,
Not the way you really needed.
Keep breathing.
Loving it more.
We're going to bring in support here for grief because grief can lodge in the body and be like Hold on a second.
Like it just keeps coming back and it keeps coming back.
And yes,
We need to process it.
But it also doesn't need to be stuck for us to process it.
It can be in motion.
It can be in movement.
So I want you to feel into your body.
And see where that grief lives.
Where it's been taking up space.
It's been living in your lungs and in your chest and in your throat and in your face and the back of your neck and your head.
It's been living in your arms and your legs.
And I want you to look for where it is not living.
Where are the places or maybe there's just one tiny,
Tiny,
Tiny place where that grief did not.
Get into.
I want you to find that spot.
You know it.
Let yourself see it.
There it is.
Keep going right in that direction.
Keep breathing.
Finding it keep letting it find you keep letting yourself open and it's gonna feel maybe sort of kind of like a torrential downpour that comes out of nowhere but it will leave if you let it rain Keep breathing.
There it is.
We're moving through the thickest part of it.
Just breathe.
Feel back into your body.
Can wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Whatever wants to move,
Whatever wants to shift.
And just get back into yourself for a moment.
For letting that grief move through finally,
Finally for what you didn't get.
Because that spot.
.
.
Where you didn't let grief in.
That was you.
Knowing you.
Feeling you.
Remembering who the hell you are.
Your power.
Your strength.
That yes,
You love them.
Yes,
You want them back.
Do you?
Do you really?
Do you need them?
Because what could life look like?
If you didn't.
What could life feel like if you were more you?
Then you could be with them.
If you are more true.
More real,
More full,
More big,
More emotional,
More vibrant,
More vivid.
More full and embodied in all of you.
The parts you like,
The parts you don't like,
The parts you held back.
The things you wanted to say and didn't.
What if there was space for that?
What if you were someone who could speak that and be in that and be in the fullness and the richness and the everything of who you are?
That's the you you're becoming.
And that you.
That you might not need them in the same way.
That you sees that pull back and says,
I've learned my lesson.
And I never want to hurt so badly like I did.
When I tried to go back.
I wanna be me.
I want more.
I want connection and truth.
And depth.
And that's who I'm becoming.
Stay here as long as you need.
Let it all move through.
Let yourself be here.
In the truth,
In the real.
In what's right here.
Because that's how you move forward.
And that's how you let yourself.
Become who you are.
Surrounded by people who adore you and love you and would never ever want to hurt you and would never want you to hold back.
But want you to be.
All of you.
Again,
Stay here as long as you need.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes and come back to the room.
