So finding a posture that feels relaxed and alert,
Awake and aware.
Maybe taking a deep breath or two in through the nose,
Not through the mouth.
And starting by putting your hands over your heart,
Really connecting with the heart and how it's feeling right now.
Tender listening to the body.
Maybe just checking in with what's true for you right now.
And we can keep our hands here on our heart and we can keep our hands here on our heart or lay our hands down,
Whatever we feel like we need right now.
Checking in with the belly as we breathe,
Breathing,
Allowing the belly to soften and relax.
Noticing physical sensations around the body.
Where there might be tightness or lightness,
Warmth or coolness.
Just checking in to see what we can notice in the physical body without judgment.
Noticing whether we can tend to the body with a sense of acceptance or appreciation.
Befriending the body as it is right now,
However it feels.
Noticing which emotions are here.
Seeing if you can name one or two emotions that you're feeling in this moment.
And once you've identified which emotions are here,
Sensing into what they want to express.
How would this emotion fully express itself right now if I allowed it space?
What would the emotion say or do?
Or do with full expression?
Remembering that it's okay to feel what we feel.
No need to judge them.
Simply noticing this felt energy that's common.
Common to every human on this planet.
Allowing these emotions to be felt,
To be expressed as a part of our experience.
And they're not who we really are.
Inviting a sense of your spirit.
Allowing your connection with your own spirit.
Sensing into your deepest essence.
That's loving awareness.
Appreciating our spirit.
Appreciating our emotions.
Appreciating our body.
And may we continue to check in with you.

Emotions,
And spirit for the rest of the day.
