Two mental fitness exercises in one today.
Oh,
How we are so very lucky.
Today's mental fitness exercises focus on mindset and mindfulness.
These two together can overcome any obstacle.
But the secret is how to use both simultaneously.
You may face a task which seems impossible.
We've all been there.
But if you start thinking it's impossible,
You've already failed.
You've already lost.
But if you start,
Just start with some optimism,
You're going to be open to a multitude of possibilities.
And what this does,
It results in an uptick in your behavior.
Your behavior towards the tasks or the project at hand and begin carving a champion mindset.
And a champion,
A champion,
My friends,
Always finds a way.
Being a champion is also a true sign of being a good leader.
Whether it's being a leader at home or at work or wherever it's needed.
You are stepping up.
You are setting the example.
You are showing others how not to give up and how to have the right attitude,
Perseverance and humility.
With each step,
It's going to be very beneficial to employ the second mental fitness exercise.
And that is mindfulness.
Mindfulness helps us deflect external thoughts and helps us focus on the tasks at hand.
In other words,
Mindfulness helps us focus on the present,
Helps us focus on the now.
So in this case,
Don't focus on the end result,
But rather focus on the current step.
Be present.
Be attentive to each step one by one.
Give your undivided attention to the current step as if it were the only step in the entire process.
This way,
You're going to trick the mind.
You're going to trick it not into looking at how long the whole task will take,
But focus on the individual victories along the way.
So basically,
Win one battle at a time.
Develop that champion mindset that this can be done.
Never go into a task thinking it is impossible.
Combine that with being mindful in each task,
Giving complete focus and you will have amazing results.
Now go out there and get it.
