Your mental fitness exercise today is a challenging one.

It is a bit difficult because we're going to be dealing with our minds,

Specifically our mindsets.

Okay?

So think about it.

You may not realize it,

But you probably have some events in your life that you'd rather forget rather than revisit.

Those memories are not pleasant.

So they are doing a number on you.

And here's the issue with that.

If you choose to forget and suppress it,

Whatever it is,

Whatever happened,

It's going to own a part of you.

And that part contains your energy.

And if you didn't know it already,

Your energy is directly linked to your mindset.

Okay?

A good self check here is if you're feeling low on energy,

Check your mindset.

See if you have that negative mindset,

That scarcity mindset working.

Alright?

That's where this exercise comes in.

And that's where this exercise is a little difficult and can be painful.

Depending on how deeply wounded you are by holding on to that memory.

So,

The main thing we have to do is we have to confront it.

We have to make peace by acknowledging the event that took place.

Taking the lesson from it and then most importantly,

Letting it go.

When you let it go,

You're gonna start taking your energy back.

Okay?

This is not a one-shot exercise.

It's something that you're going to have to develop in order to take the complete energy back.

It's very rare that someone is just going to make peace in one exercise.

So,

You have to stay consistent with this.

Revisit it.

Find the lessons from it.

And then slowly start letting it go.

And when you let it go,

You're gonna start taking your energy back.

You're gonna take that battery back.

So,

To do this exercise,

This is what we have to do.

First of all,

You've got to find time to be by yourself,

To be alone.

Alright?

Just sit down in a comfortable position.

You don't have to sit down like you're meditating.

Just get comfortable and go back in that time and watch it like a movie.

Watch yourself.

Realize that this is the past and that there's no changing it,

No matter what.

And just find the lesson in it or find the forgiveness for yourself or for someone else.

Okay?

Whatever it was,

It didn't kill you.

Just realize that you're better for it and it will never own you because you're taking that energy back.

So,

It's not gonna be easy.

It's a tough one and it may take more than one time to thoroughly make peace.

But you will feel it once you do it.

You're gonna feel that energy come back.

You're gonna feel that battery coming back into your body and it's gonna feel amazing.

You can do this and you will do this.

Get busy.
