Today,

Let's meditate together.

So this is going to be a really short and easy meditation for ages 3 plus.

And you can do this with your parents or you can do this alone.

So see if you can come to sit with your back nice and tall.

Now you can sit on your knees,

You can sit crisscross,

You can sit on a pillow,

You can sit on your bed or on a chair,

But choose to sit in a way that makes your back super tall and strong.

And as you lift your back nice and tall,

Then you open up your breathing muscle and you can take a deep breath in to your body just like this.

Take a deep breath with me.

Ah,

Let it out.

Can you do that one more time?

Take a deep breath in,

Ah,

Let it out.

Now you're sitting nice and tall.

Your spine is straight.

Your body is ready for your meditation.

Animals can be great to have around and they make us feel really happy and playful.

They can bring us happiness and they can make our home feel happy.

Animals are part of nature just like us.

They start off as babies and then they grow to be bigger and bigger and then they have their own families.

They also like to stick together just like us.

Take a deep breath in with me in through your nose.

Let it out.

Take another deep breath in.

Let it out and take one last deep breath in.

Let it out.

Now start to think but shh,

Don't tell me,

Of your favorite animal.

Shhh,

Keep it in your mind.

What color is your favorite animal?

Right now you're just thinking of it and picturing your favorite animal in your mind.

Think of what your favorite animal is and then think of what color your favorite animal is.

If you were an animal,

What would you be?

Would you be the same animal or would you be a different one?

Now imagine that you're playing with your favorite animal.

What kinds of games would you play?

Imagine where your animal lives.

Now take some time to spend some time playing with your favorite animal and doing the things that you would do with your favorite animal in the very place that your animal lives.

Wow,

I hope you had fun spending time thinking about your favorite animal.

You did such a good job on your meditation.

Take a deep breath in with me and let it out.

And another deep breath in and let it out.

Be sure to share with your family what your favorite animal was.
