Let's begin by finding a comfortable position for your body.

You are so welcome to sit or lie down.

Just being sure that the position that you choose for yourself is easeful for your body today.

Perhaps turning the palms to face upwards if you're feeling a little sleepy.

Or turning the palms down to soften around any anxieties that you might be feeling.

Now close your eyes.

Even if that feels strange or weird or scary,

Close your eyes.

Notice that subtle shift in focus as you close your eyes.

Feel your attention shifting away from the external environment to this more quiet internal abode.

Take a few soft breaths in and out of your nose.

And as you breathe in this way,

Noticing that brush of breath past your nostrils on the way in.

And that brush of breath past your nostrils on the way out.

Allow the sensation and texture of your breath to capture your attention.

Be patient with yourself,

Dear one,

As the mind does not want to be tamed.

But the heart so longs for this stillness.

The heart longs for this constant noise of the mind to subside.

So that you can come home to your one and only shining place within.

Breathe so deeply and trust that you can relax right here.

I invite you to ask yourself the question,

How do I feel in my body today?

What is it like to be in my body?

Please know there is no wrong answer.

Give yourself permission to feel what you feel without that outpouring of judgment or criticism.

Hold yourself sweetly in this moment and just allow for this unfolding.

How do I feel in my body today?

What is it like to be in my body?

Whatever thoughts or emotions are surfacing are not wrong or shameful.

Your job here to simply notice what arises.

You are not your best moment or your worst.

Continue to notice the brush of breath past your nostrils.

Inhale deeply and exhale so fully over and over again.

Inhale deeply and exhale fully.

Breathing through the sadness,

The longing,

The disappointment.

Inhale deeply and exhale fully.

Breathing through the joy,

Happiness,

The gratitude.

Inhale deeply and exhale fully.

Know these emotions that arise do not define you,

But rather they are here to challenge you to arrive fully in this moment.

Untethered from any of them and fully capable of residing in that quiet place inside of you.

It's here you'll find freedom from suffering.

It's here in this moment.

Do not let the noise of the mind block you from this freedom.

Inhale deeply and exhale so fully right here.

Simply repeating to yourself on these next few breaths,

Breathing in,

I am.

Breathing out here.

Breathing in,

I am.

Breathing out here.

Breathing in,

I am.

Breathing out free.

Breathing in,

I am.

Breathing out free.
