Today we're talking about two perspectives.
Two perspectives.
Every question has two answers.
You can listen to your mind,
Ego,
Personality,
Which always answers from fear,
Anger,
And the idea that you're separate.
Or you can listen to your heart,
Which is where the soul resides.
As a soul,
You are part of oneness.
The heart's answer always takes you further,
The universe.
So as you seek guidance,
As you wonder about what your next step should be,
Or how to approach something,
Or how to approach a particular relationship,
Or situation,
Or reality,
Every question has two answers.
So this is this idea of the one track or the other track,
And you get to choose.
You get to choose in every moment,
And sometimes you're going to choose out of fear,
Or anger,
Or separation.
That's going to happen.
That's okay.
If you choose in that way,
You'll be taken on a track that will help you understand how to choose differently next time.
Remember,
The universe is not tricky.
The universe is not punishing.
The universe is not blaming you.
You're not getting in trouble from the universe.
The universe is not authoritarian.
The universe is benevolent,
And the universe is here to help you expand a soul.
So when you take off this idea that you're being punished,
Or that you've got sin,
Or that you're bad,
And you just begin to explore your experience in a more open way,
You get to really see that with every question there's two answers,
And one of the answers is mind-ego personality,
Which says me,
Me,
Me,
I,
I,
I,
Separate,
Separate,
Must be better,
Must protect myself,
Must take care of myself,
And then the other answer,
Which is the heart,
Which is oneness,
Love,
Connection,
Basic goodness of all humankind,
Community,
Collective,
Supporting,
Loving,
And as you begin to be a person who is daring and brave enough to start beginning to answer questions from your heart,
You'll notice that your life starts to change,
Because when you follow the heart on a question,
Then that leads you on a path to more questions that will be answered by you.
You can choose to answer from your heart,
And this leads you on this passive path of oneness and connectivity,
Of understanding the interconnection of all things,
And of course if you're answering from mind-ego personality,
Then you're answering from separation,
And then you sort of head down this path of being separate,
And being isolated,
And feeling bad,
And so it's kind of like super contracted mind-ego personality,
Or super expanded from the heart.
So we aren't perfect in how we answer questions again,
And this is fine,
This idea that you are where you are.
As you desire to expand your understanding,
This happens,
Just simply by desiring to have more understanding,
It's given to you.
As you begin to practice with some of these ideas in your daily life,
And how you respond to others,
And how you let go of shadow thoughts,
And shadow habits over time,
Start to expand more,
And you just start to show up in this really open way,
This like heart open way,
And again the heart is where the soul resides.
We sometimes think the soul resides kind of like in this little halo over our heads,
Maybe it does,
Who knows,
But the heart is the feeling space,
Which is where we can process these expanded energies,
Such as feeling connected,
Feeling love,
Or feeling joy,
Feeling compassion,
This all happens in the heart.
I like to do a meditation where you start to take everything into your heart,
The world,
The country you live in,
The city you live in,
Your neighborhood,
The people in your neighborhood,
Or your workspace wherever you are right now,
The people closest to you,
And your family and friends group,
And then you take yourself into your heart,
You just hold all that in,
And you can also do this conversely,
You start by taking yourself into your heart,
Then your family and friends group,
And then the community you live in,
And so forth,
Until you're taking the whole universe into your heart,
Either way,
Taking it in small to big,
Or big to small,
They work the same,
And it's amazing to see how much your heart can hold,
How much your heart can hold,
And if you do this practice of taking everything into your heart,
When you are faced with a question that you're confused about,
When you,
You know,
Maybe the world is saying respond in fear,
Respond in anger,
And you do this practice of taking everything into your heart,
And you realize,
No,
I'm gonna respond in connection,
Or I'm gonna respond with love,
Or I'm gonna respond with trust,
You start to really be operating on a different dimensionality,
Actually,
You start to almost be,
Well,
You start to be,
You start to exist and live and experience in a different reality,
Every question has two answers,
Every question has two realities,
Or two dimensions that you can exist in,
And when you do this practice of continually trying as best you can to answer from the place of connection,
And love,
And compassion,
You sort of nudge yourself into this other reality where that is how things are,
You kick yourself out of the reality where everything is fear,
And anger,
And separation,
And of course this is amazingly desirable,
It's,
It's just such a nicer way to live,
It's so much easier,
And it's really a more honest way,
Because the soul is what is in charge of us,
The mind ego personality is so variable,
So easily fooled,
So,
So crazy,
So crazy all the time,
We can't really trust it,
It's like the mind ego personality is like this trickster,
And then this soul is like this benevolent wise teacher,
And you get to choose where you're going to get your answer from,
The trickster,
Who you can't count on at all,
Or this wise benevolent wisdom teacher that is,
That is also you,
And you get to choose,
As you go about your day today consider how all the things that are coming in can be answered from,
Every question has two answers,
And just start to look at what your mind is telling you,
And what your heart is telling you,
And what would happen if you began to work your answer from your heart.
