This is Sarah Eyler.
Thank you for joining me.
For this short meditation to begin your day.
With awareness and gratitude.
Waking up each body part with a deep sense of gratitude.
As this new day begins.
And the world slowly starts to awaken.
Allow yourself to be here.
In this present moment.
Noticing your inhales and exhales.
Each breath filling the belly.
Ribcage and chest with air.
Welcoming in spaciousness.
Noticing the weight of your body.
The heaviness of your hips.
The back of your head.
Your arms and legs held by the surface beneath you.
Setting an intention now for your day.
What do you need to call in?
What do you need most in this day?
Since we're working with gratitude,
You could use an intention statement such as I am grateful for all the blessings of my life.
I trust this day and meet it with gratitude.
I am grateful for each body part.
Working together in harmony.
I step into this day with a grateful and open heart.
Whatever statement resonates with you.
Bring it into your mind's eye now.
And repeat it silently to yourself three times.
Like you are planting a seed.
Into your subconscious mind.
I invite you now to bring into your mind.
Something or someone that you are extremely grateful for.
Someone or something.
That you're profoundly thankful for in your life.
Noticing how it feels.
To be grateful what sensations and feelings are rising as you focus on gratitude and now as we sense into each part of your body.
Can you bring this feeling of gratitude that we've cultivated into each body part as I call them out by name?
Waking up each body part with a deep sense of gratitude.
So first,
Bringing all your awareness to your feet.
Sensing or feeling into the soles of the feet.
The tops of the feet.
Both heels.
And all 10 toes.
The base of the toes.
The tips of the toes.
And the spaces between each toe.
Sending love and gratitude.
To your feet and toes.
Grateful.
That they ground you into the earth.
That they balance you.
That they allow you to take each step forward.
And now sensing into both legs.
Sensing first into the ankles.
The calves and the shins.
Into the knees.
Thighs and hamstrings.
Just allow gratitude to fill up both legs.
Your legs carry you forward.
They support you with strength.
Stability.
And ease.
Both legs.
Filled with gratitude.
Moving up now to both hips.
Filling out both hips.
With this feeling of gratitude.
So grateful for your hips that anchor your body.
That hold you steady and stable.
As you move throughout the day.
Gratitude.
Flowing through both hips.
Moving up into the space of the heart now.
And then allow a deep sense of gratitude to fill and settle.
Into your beautiful.
Precious heart.
Feeling extremely grateful for its life-sustaining rhythm.
Waves of gratitude flowing through your beautiful heart.
Awareness flowing now to both shoulders.
And then down through the arms.
Into the upper arms.
Both elbows.
The lower arms.
Aris.
Into the palms.
And then all ten fingers.
And then bringing in a deep sense of gratitude for your hands.
Fingers and arms.
For all that they allow you to do.
To touch.
To feel.
To interact with the world.
Awareness now to your neck and throat.
Allowing a deep sense of gratitude to flow into your neck and throat.
Grateful for your unique voice.
Or your ability to express yourself clearly.
State your truth.
Awareness now,
To your face.
Gratitude flowing now into your entire face.
To the jawline.
Cheeks and cheekbones.
The nose.
The entire mouth.
Teeth.
Gums and tongues.
Eyes and eye sockets.
Both ears.
The entire forehead.
Entire face softening with gratitude.
Gratitude for all your senses.
Grateful for the ability.
To smell.
Taste.
To here.
To perceive this world in such an effortless way.
And finally,
Awareness to the entire head.
And both hemispheres of the brain.
A deep sense of gratitude.
For your thoughts.
Your awareness.
Your memories.
Be able to experience.
And remember this brand new day ahead of you.
A day filled with infinite possibilities.
And now I invite you to sense your whole body at once.
For the soles of your feet.
To the crown of your head.
Grateful for your entire body.
Every part of your body.
Working together in harmony.
Gratitude for being who you are.
Just as you are.
Grateful that you are alive,
Awake,
And ready to meet this new day.
And as we end this practice together.
Repeating your intention again 3 times,
Silently to yourself.
Repeating this statement over and over throughout the day to continue to cultivate gratitude.
Returning your awareness to your breath now.
Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your body.
As you take each.
Noticing how your body feels.
How you feel compared to when we first started this practice.
Invite awareness into the body,
Starting with little movements,
Nodding your head,
Yawning or taking a big stretch.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Feeling alive.
And ready to step into your day.
With clarity.
Presence.
And immense gratitude.
The light in me honors the light in you.
Wishing you a beautiful peaceful day
