Good morning friends and welcome.
Welcome to another morning mini with a few minute movements.
I've got my cup of coffee here if you want to take a pause and get yourself a drink.
Feel free to gather whatever it is that you need this morning.
And I welcome you to just take a moment to land this morning.
You can close the eyes or just let the gaze be soft if you'd like to gaze out of the window.
And we'll just breathe in and breathe out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
There is no rush upon this journey.
A few minutes together to start the day.
Notice perhaps if there is any pressure settled around the shoulders or the neck or the jaw.
And from here we can give all of those areas a little movement.
Maybe we just roll the shoulders,
Shrugging away any pressure,
Any tension,
Any weight.
Rolling as you wish.
You can do both at the same time or you can do a little wiggle.
And then we can move to the neck.
So perhaps we drop the chin to the chest or just a little half roll.
So one shoulder along the front line of the body to the other little semi-circles,
Just gentle.
And we'll do the same at the back of the body.
So we let the head fall back and again,
Just little half rolls from one shoulder to the other,
Taking our time this morning.
When you feel ready,
The head comes back to neutral and breathe.
Again,
That idea of releasing any sense of pressure,
Of weight,
Of expectation this morning.
Here in this moment,
There is no pressure to be in a fantastic mood or feel wildly positive.
We're just listening to where we are this morning.
Without laying any extra pressure or weight upon ourselves or upon our shoulders.
Maybe the next breath,
Ian,
Is just a little longer,
A little deeper.
And then just sigh out a breath.
Reminding ourselves with these easeful breaths that we don't need to start from a place of perfection.
We just start where we are.
However that may be for us this morning.
We are just beginning.
And just perhaps,
In our mind's eye,
We might just imagine or bring our attention to one thing that you can do next,
After our little journey together ends.
It might be a moment for yourself,
A moment to enjoy your garden,
A moment to enjoy a nourishing breakfast,
A minute to make a list of your priorities for the day.
We are just at the beginning.
Clarity or energy can come later.
You don't need to have it all planned out right now.
We're just starting where we are.
It is enough just to begin.
And as that next beginning before us begins,
Feel free to take another deep inhale and reach the arms tall,
Stretching skywards.
And we're going to exhale and just let the hands fall away.
You can open the eyes if they're closed,
And I welcome you to your day.
