Welcome,
Friends.
Welcome back to another morning mini with some minute movements.
As always,
I've got my cup of coffee.
If you would like to gather a drink,
You're welcome to gather whatever you need for our few minutes together here to greet the morning.
And I think today we'll start by interlinking the fingers and just reaching toward,
Just a lovely,
Long stretch,
Reaching high.
And when you feel ready,
We'll let the hands fall.
You can just take a little wiggle,
Little click of my wrist,
So you can take a little wiggle or a flex and a roll with the shoulder.
Simple,
Minute,
Mini for our morning.
And then from here,
As we settle,
As always,
You can close the eyes or you can let the gaze be soft.
I'm just here to be with you for this short journey.
As we breathe and settle for this moment,
A little moment to arrive.
Mornings can sometimes come with a feeling of everything all at once,
Everything you need to do,
Everything you haven't done,
Everything waiting for you.
And it's okay to feel or say aloud that it feels like a lot.
It often feels like a lot.
This lovely pause at the beginning of our day is a chance to gently remind ourselves that we don't have to do it all right now in this moment.
We can have just this breath,
And maybe this breath,
Or a little peace.
Maybe we think about letting our shoulders just drop gently or give them a little wiggle if that helps,
Letting the jaw soften or give it a little wiggle or a rub.
Just bringing our attention to the here and now,
Our body,
Our breath,
Any tension,
Any tension,
Tensions without judgment.
Noticing what's here in front of us or within us right now.
Maybe in this moment of right now,
We have the first few steps before us.
Maybe it's drinking our coffee.
Maybe it's getting dressed or having a shower.
Let it be simple,
Our first steps.
Something manageable,
Something possible.
A shower,
Writing a to-do list,
Finishing your hot drink.
Slow breaths.
And you can say within your mind's eye or out loud,
One step at a time.
One step at a time.
We don't need to rush ahead.
We don't need to have everything figured out right now.
We just need to take that first step.
And you can carry that into your morning.
Not everything all at once,
Just this is enough.
First step.
So as we prepare for that first step,
Maybe once more,
Interlinking the fingers,
Reaching high to sky.
One more stretch skywards.
A lovely deep inhale in.
And as we exhale,
We'll let the hands fall away.
You can open the eyes if they're closed.
And I welcome you to a brand new day.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Welcome to the next step before you.
Farewell for now.
